Hello DT guys. I joined this community just now.
I'd introduce myself. My name is darkspider(or DSD), japanese. Some of you guys may have met me in Geekhack or elsewhere.
My current keyboard is IBM Model F PCAT, and I have some other types of old-school IBM's keyboards involving a japanese buckling spring keyboard.
I'm a newbie, but looking forward to share information and deepen my knowledge with you!

Yes, the Japanese keyboard is Brother branded(aka 5576-a01). I got one in an auction in my country.
It's very good to type on, though it needs much pressure to activate.

Sadly, I don't have it, but I want to get one in the future.
If I buy Topre brande keyboard, I want an all-45g without tenkey.

If you use a IBM AT Model F then may be you could consider a 55g Topre.
After useing Buckling Spring keyboards (Model M in my case) for the last 20 years I got an 55g Topre and immediatley liked
it.

@darkspider: Welcome to DT! My first mechanical keyboards were IBM Model M. Now, my favorite switches are the IBM capacitive buckling spring (Model F), silenced Topre 55g and 45g, Matias Click, and Matias Quiet. If you are in Japan, I suppose you have access to Topre-switch keyboards at favorable prices.

Yes, it's Brother buckling spring! it's heavier and quiter than regular Model M keyboard.
Although they use same mechanism as Model Ms(buckling spring over membrane), I feel they are definitely defferenct keyboard.
