What?

This an interest check for UKKeycaps group buy #3 - GMK Escape Pack (4 Escapes of different colours)

Material = ABS
Profile = Cherry
Legends = Doubleshot
Colours = You get to choose! - Red keycap with white legend is 100%, the remaining 3 depend on voting

Here are some examples:

White, purple & green(credit to nubbinator)

Classic Red & White (Included in this GB - credit to elite KBs)


Where?


This is a UK based group-buy with the UK in mind, shipping will be free to the UK and available at a fair price to the EU, Russia, the US, Australia etc.


When/how long?


This interest check will run for 5 days. The group-buy itself will run for 3 weeks, the lead time will be around 2 months, hopefully less.


How much?


The price for one escape pack (4 keys) will be £12 with free shipping to the UK.

Shipping to all other countries will be £3.50

The escape packs will be sold on the UKKeycaps store


What is the MOQ / What if MOQ is not reached?

The MOQ for the escape packs will be 65.

If the MOQ is not met (unlikely), you will be refunded in full!

people asking for "funky" Esc's with colored lettering... remember these are just fine to look, but then when mixing with white or black lettering keysets, they just look awful (I have a CMY Esc pack and I know what I'm talking about)

If we get incredibly boring stock caps like white on black or black on beige (ie the ones that come as part of standard keysets!), then this GB is going to be fairly poor value for money.

UKKeycaps: That board is indeed Cherry, with Cherry caps, but they're lasered --> different material, different feel, crap quality.

I think I will increase the number of keys (again!) to 7! This is the absolute maximum and I won't be adding anymore

Hmm thanks for the feedback. I threw in the Green w/ pink casue I thought it would look good, kinda like watermelon colours.

I might have to get rid of the red w/ white legend, it's getting a lot of backlash, replace it with cyan w/ white legend

Red w/white legend -- very common already!
Pink w/light blue -- my eyes (also aren't there "miami" sets that already have this?)
Green w/pink -- MY EYES

Indeed, but feng (geekkeys) have "white on Green" only in limited quantities AFAIK. I would love to see "black on Green" since it wasn't ever made yet.



again, although I love funky color caps (including "funky" Esc keys), one thing is how these keys look separately, other is how they look on a keyboard with normal caps or even with CMYK/W or RGBK/W mods which all of us like to use.

also, be aware that "Green (N7) w/ white" will look like poo since that's a very shaded green!

that said, I would go for normal white/black legend Esc's with vivid colors only.

I can't even understand what "blue" or "light blue" are... maybe people were referring to "blue N5/V4"? and "cyan"?! also there's no "pink" man, it's magenta
