Those Tandbergs should have Cherry ML switches.

seebart is right, these are Siemens STB keys. The Tandberg TDV 2237 S is a serial terminal with an HP emulation, introduced in 1984; that's about 12 years before Cherry ML switches entered the market, IIRC.

Good luck, I'm not bidding on it.

For anyone who cares: the numeric keypad that this Boris is selling, is foam-and-foil. Buyer beware!

AEK's (AFAIK) only come with a physical ANSI layout; I've never seen an ISO one. AEKII's come in ISO though (as you know ;)).

I've somehow ended up with a reasonable sub-collection of Apple boards somehow, I like boards with whacky layouts and they certainly tick that box for the most part.

I'd be very happy to be proved wrong though, an ISO AEK would nicely round out the sub-collection :D.

I saw it in July too.
The seller also had an Apple ADB to Symbolics keyboard/mouse adapter made by Symbolics for 1800$ (sold):

"Cheap" :P

1,800 bucks though, good lord. "Only" 2,390 for me, before shipping! What a steal!

And now, a contribution, on the less pricey side: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-in-box-Vinta ... 1ea44c11f3

Bit of a mystery buy, at least to my eyes. Apparently clicky, so maybe Alps switches of some kind? Also, made for the Canadian market, by the look of it.

It would be interesting to see if a NIB FKB4700 feels much better.

Indeed, to me the biggest issue was the shittiness of the stabilisers, hopefully they'd be better on new ones.

The whole switch is strange. On my Sanyo branded FKB4700 there is severe variation in switch feel across the board. But hell it could have 100000+ keystrokes behind it. Who knows.

Let the Spaniard have it sth. You're only after the caps for a 60%! But any old ANSI AEK will do for you. Spanish ones aren't common.

Anyone got an ANSI US AEK II, or a European based eBay link, for sth? I picked up one in Germany, from a guy who sold 3 that day. But it was NIB and I ain't parting with it for a donor!
