Please vote for your winner of the first Deskthority Lifetime Award.

With this category we celebrate the keyboard community and the fifth edition. Which person or organization stood out for you the past years?

By voting in this category you can win a Quick Fire Rapid SI and a yet-to-be-released mouse from Cooler Master!

This is the final round. See the first round and second round for reference.

The final round ends on Monday 14 December, 20:00hrs UTC. You can change your vote until the end of the round. The winner and full results will be released soon after the vote closes. EDIT: The winner has been announced here.

The official nominees are:

7bit for his herculean groupbuys
He has run the biggest groupbuys, different rounds of Signature Plastics keycaps, different keyboard switches and great PCB designs, being a reliable provider for many years now. Where were you when Signature Plastics shipped Round 5? The sorting must have been the work of bots, nuns or leprechauns (or all combined).

Daniel Beardsmore for his momentous work on the wiki
Deskthority is a wiki just as much as it's a forum. One contributor stands above all the rest when it comes to the wiki. Beardsmore turned it into a vast work which is now the standard reference for many keyboard related information on the Internet, while setting a standard and a structure which movivated others to follow.

Face it, this man wrote the better half of everything you know!

HaaTa: Relic Hunter Extraordinaire
There's collectors, who live to stock their stash, and then there's HaaTa. He doesn't just fill his shelves, he gets down and dirty and dissects these rarities, so the rest of us can have a look! He's the Smithsonian of the keyboard world, with more than just a hint of Doc Brown
Ever dreamed of being the Indiana Jones of keyboards? HaaTa's living it for real.

Hasu, we wouldn't have any custom keyboard without this superhero
There are a number of talented, dedicated modders and builders on deskthority, but guess who they learned most from when it comes to tinkering, to keyboard firmware and to custom builds? It's our man from Japan, the always helpful superhero hasu! Your fancy custom keyboard is most likely driven by his firmware or derivatives.

Hasu's 60% Alps PCB - use parts from an old Alps keyboard with this PCB to build a great custom keyboard.

Matt3o for everything he's been up to
The forum's busiest robot, matt3o has been deskthority's most prolific custom keyboard and keycaps contributor. From the classic to the intermediate and the expert. And don't forget all the sweet keycaps and all his helpful contributions.
What's better than dreaming up a sweet idea? Actually making it happen!

I am not the only person who has followed this path either. Also beyond his usual proselytizing of mechanical keyboards he also runs the highest traffic community of the three /r/MK has been the gateway, the schoolhouse and the containment board for a lot of people, even spawning its own /r/mechmarket and /r/keycapdesigners subs. if iMav is to be considered then Ripster should be as well.

Deskthority's voters had other ideas! Ripster failed to make the final, let alone sweep the award. In fact, he would have failed to make the cut even with twice as many votes.

Must unleash the minions earlier in battle…
