I don't know what the switches are in this, but it seems like someone really wants it!
Note that it has a fingerprint reader on it!

I knew from the post that it was a knowledgeable seller, and I saw the avatar on your eBay posting and knew I'd seen that somewhere; went scouting in this thread (back a few pages) and found you. I'd own that board if I liked the layout.

Looks like scissor-stabilised rubber domes to moi, just going off the seemingly low-profile keycaps.Abstractions wrote: ↑Well, there is this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bloomberg-Termi ... SwX~dWjDCr

Worst switches ever. Imagine a mushy rubber dome version of Cherry ML with fairly high activation force. My Bloomerg has miniature discrete domes, very snappy and extremely tactile. That's a slightly different model though (made a video about it if you're interested ).XMIT wrote: ↑Worst switches ever. There's massive variation. I wouldn't take any of 'em over buckling springs, sure, but the ones in my craptop aren't half bad, just as an example.XMIT wrote: ↑Worst switches ever. Only! I saw that earlier, don't think this is anywhere near $1500 worth. I don't even think NIB ones are worth more than $1100...
If I could, I'd make a low offer just to see what the seller's floor is. Even at $400 it'd be a bargain but I doubt it'll be lower than like 1300.

Since we're on the subject, look at this greedy shiiet trying to pass of the cheap (2-5€) G80 1800 as gaming keyboards.bocahgundul wrote: ↑the seller are just greedy shiet

He even claims that it has NKRO due to being PS2 connected! What a bunch of crap.
Unfortunately I don't doubt some less informed people will fall for his scam. I did not find the option to report the auction for false information but one might still report him for the copyrighted image he used in his auction...
Oh, there's more! Look at this greedy little shieet trying to claim a Chicony rubber dome board is clicky like old IBMs! Look at that price!

I wonder if I'll be able to remove those stickers... The rest seems to be rather easy to clean.
But I'll take a photo or two, that thing looks very 90s to me.

What a worthless attempt - selling the PS/2 Version. Didn't even bother to bleach the top caseshreebles wrote: ↑Since we're on the subject, look at this greedy shiiet trying to pass of the cheap (2-5€) G80 1800 as gaming keyboards.
You can still see where the LAUER-FISCHER Logo has been filed off. All from the same source, I just got 10 myself for 50€ delivered.

Those cases are sturdy, you should have no problems with the stickers. I noticed that you got a slightly different revision, the logo is slightly different and yours lacks the "pattern" across the top. We'll have to add yours to our wiki also.zuglufttier wrote: ↑I wonder if I'll be able to remove those stickers... The rest seems to be rather easy to clean.

Not sure what switches this has in it. Maybe Montereys... Maybe rubber domes.
