Is that a membrane underneath? If so, it's probably some kind of dome with slider switch. Looks like the caps are Alps compatible though.

that might be a membrane... it doesn't look tall enough to be a mechanical switch, I think. Anyhow, if you want to hunt more: https://www.google.com/search?q=Клавиатура+Пэвм+Омега

I didn't find much beside these pics.

Honestly, it looks like a clear plastic plate over a membrane, with rubber domes held in place by the clear plate... At least that's certainly what it looks like to me. Not mechanical.

Quite right. I haven't seen many old membrane keyboards besides the IBM ones I used to use...

Well, hello there
Don't think it's AT, since it just lights up and blocks everything else when I connect it.

For this suitation, it should be XT.
Could you tell me what name is that keyboard?

And who know what switch of the alphasmart pro keyboard? It seems like has a latching lock.

It looks like B80-3766 from [wiki]Cherry catalogues[/wiki], but I can't be sure. The sticker is illegible to me, or at least doesn't refer to anything I know of.

I like it, apart from the slight yellowing. Lot's of stepped keys on that one, typical XT. Love the logo on the right.

As a rule of thumb, "101" without anything after it means rubber dome. That isn't true in all cases, but it isn't worth a big risk.

See if a keycap can be pulled. Otherwise I wouldn't pay more than $15 for it -- it's a gamble.

Look at the pad printing keycap style with this XT and AT convert layout.
As my experience, your keyboard should be Made in Taiwan or China ALPS clone of mechanical keyboard.
They always belong to Taiwan unknown alps clone(copy of alps switch).
Other possible switches are Omron B3G-S(not Japan labeled), Futaba clicky switch, SMK vintage linear clone switches or Cherry MX switch.

What kind of keyboard is this? It was used in the Electronic Data Command Center of AIRWOLF Season 4.

Initially I suspected it was a keyboard control for a Yamaha synthesizer. But better pictures show "TR*****ASE 221 downlink VID mod**"

The number 3120 appears at the upper left of the keyboard.

The number 727 appears to upper right of the keyboard.

Could this have been a news or movie production keyboard to edit VHS tapes around 1986?

I have searched to no avail. Hopefully you guys can help me solve this mystery.

Thanks!

s. The orthogonal layout and the alphabetic order of the keys struck me as odd too.

It was filmed in Canada by Atlantis in 1986-87 if that offers any clues.

Can you see that the keys are really pressed down? Maybe it's just a fake board...

TheHelicopterGuy

18 Jan 2016, 13:48

The fact they purposely blacked out part of the name leads me to think this was a real keyboard.

"TR*****ASE 221 downlink VID mod**"

The number 3120 appears at the upper left of the keyboard.

The number 727 appears to upper right of the keyboard.

Initially I thought it might have been a 1980's synthesizer keyboard, but with better pics I am leaning more toward a title graphics computer keyboard.

From the looks of the top I would have guessed this simply was a hebrew IBM model F AT. But the bottom looks weird.
