Grey hands because that's the color they were on the actual Space Cadet keyboard. The white "Enter" legend is a mistake; I gotta fix that. I do plan to experiment with black arrow key legends too, but for this mockup I wanted to try white.

As color designators go:Wodan wrote: ↑ HONEYB/INTER/SPH | 17 <==== Isn't this space cadet ?
SPH is GD (grey) and WV (off-white) legends.
BLUE is BFP (blue) and WV (off-white) legends.
CADET is BFP (blue) with NN (black) legends.
So if someone is talking about the "cadet color", they might be referring to CADET (BFB/NN), not the overall set colorway of blue and sph grey.

I understood that what you refer to as "Blue" here is commonly reffered to as SPH in Round6.zslane wrote: ↑ SPH is GD (grey) and WV (off-white) legends.

The new Blue has WFK legends ?
And Cadet alphanumeric caps have "white" legends in all kits I've seen

There is only one blue:
BFP
There are 2 'whites':
WFK (Round 5) and WV (Round 4)

GPA (Round 5) and GD (Round 4)
Colors are:
WHITE: NN/WFK
GREY: WFK/GPA
RED: WFK/RAS
BLACK: WFK/NN
and
SPH: WV/GD (named after the SPH-style of Round 4)
BLUE: WV/BFP
VIOLETT: WV/RDE
CREAM: RDE/WV

Ok, so what is the conclusion here. Which two sets do i need to accompany my newly bought ISO TKL modifiers
I want ISO Nordic. I think black&black might be cool. If im understanding this right, i only need alphas + int kit for that. Also, i have a spacebar already.

I just realized that there is no 1.25u ALT key in CADET colors; I will have to amend my render to use "META" instead. I also need to put back the space between BACK and SPACE on the "BACK SPACE" key.

There seems to be a bit of terminology confusion here. There are SP color codes, there are kit color tags, and there are informal color labels used by people in posts. Perhaps the best way to disambiguate between them is to stick to the kit color tags since they indicate the shell and legend colors together under one label.
WHITE refers to WFK/NN.
BLACK refers to NN/WFK.
GREY refers to GPA/WFK.
RED refers to RAS/WFK.
BLUE refers to BFP/WV.
SPH refers to GD/WV.
CADET refers to BFP/NN.
(I won't bother with VIOLETT or CREAM)
When a kit uses the term CADET, it is referring to the fact that one or more keycaps will be in the CADET color combo instead of BLUE. When a kit uses the term SPH, it is referring to the fact that the grey keycaps will be in the SPH color combo instead of GREY.

I went with red alphas for the black mods. You can even get the red NO overlay kit in the round5 leftoversLeandreN wrote: ↑Ok, so what is the conclusion here. Which two sets do i need to accompany my newly bought ISO TKL modifiers

Add some alphas (full US) from round6 and maybe add some more red accents from the round5 leftovers. Theres some red arrows and a nice DT R1 key for ESC
US-Alphas with the NO overlay kit is probably the cheapest way to get NO alphaints hands down.

So HONEYB/ALPHA/RED
HONEY/INTER/RED/OVR
That is 12$ + 60$, not too bad.
The font and bold is a little different. That's too bad

Yes. Sorta.
There are three variations of Gorton Modified at SP's disposal. Normal, Wide, and Condensed. For Round 5a (6), and probably all future rounds, 7bit is avoiding the wide variant entirely. Most legends will use the normal blocks, while those words which don't fit using normal will use condensed instead (SCROLL LOCK is a good example). However, within any variant there are many sizes available, and it is up to the set designer to be consistent when specifying the size to use for each legend.
7bit is being very careful and precise with this round. However, I don't know how the legend sizes will compare with previous rounds like Round 5. We'll have to wait for 7bit to weigh in on this.
BTW, there are two other typefaces available from SP. However, most people aren't aware of them and I've never seen a keycap set that has used either of them.

You are mostly correct. R5 is already produced, so they are actual leftovers.
The R6 order has been placed AFAIK, and due to MOQ issues there are some "leftovers" that will be produced but are yet unsold. (e.g. there is a MOQ of 25 for set X which will be produced sometime before the next Ice Age, and so far only 12 have sold. The other 13 are leftovers.)
Instantly is a strong word wherever 7bit is involved!

Whoo, wait a minute I hope the font stays the same, I ordered additionnal mods to go with my original R5 keys.
I assumed the small differences we see in the render are just due to different antialiasing algorithm.
7bit can you confirm ? Can we mix R5 keys with R5a/R6 ones ?

The font is the same, but the mockup graphics are not. The more recent ones should look precisely like what SP will produce (at least for the new legends).
Most legends are the same size, except for those which had been messed up in Round 4 and which still have been slipped through in Round 5. I have hopes that there are no stupidly big-ass legends in this round.zslane wrote: ↑...
