I got a pretty good deal on this ANSI RF 86U, still cost me a pretty penny.

Damn, completely missed those!
I end up ignoring most stuff on MD due to customs, how did you manage to avoid them?

Just got this in two days ago. Already loving typing on this thing, although I feel like I want to do a chop job on it. Also modified the layout from the TMK default, since I don't really need F1-F24 by default...

Pretty decent little thing with nicely worn MX Blacks and shiny caps with german legends.
They are good looking keybords.
Does anyone know if a winkeyless ANSI PBT Dyesub one ever existed.
That would make a good cherry board .

I would go for a doubleshot one as long as i could replace the main alpha keys with thick PBT . But my cherry needs are few now i am rocking a novatouch.

Stuff I just bought…
Well, it's already 2016, thus I've bought a replacement for my 2012 SE Xperia Mini. It's… wait for it… a 2012 SE Xperia Ray. It's ridiculous, that phones under 3.5" are going extinct. I hope this one lasts me another three years, and some alternatives show up in the meantime.
Speaking of 2016, I'm also in the process of finally upgrading my HDDs from 500GB capacity. 750 GB for /home and 1 TB for backups should be fine for quite a while. I hope—for a change—that quality will meet expectations: WD Black's 5-year warranty, 3 years on a rugged external drive… I got a rugged one precisely because of the warranty.
Other than that, only a few quite uninteresting keyboards (some rubber dome with thick keycaps, a white-label Model M, and yet another Alps clone) and Ozone Strike Pro for a review… I suppose it's a decent board, unless you're spoilt by vintage and custom boards like me or almost anyone around here.

I love those TRS-80 Caps on yours, very cool. I think I'm going to make mine into a 65% with a few dyed keys for some flare. But for now I'm just enjoying those heavy as hell linears.seebart wrote: ↑Very nice too see a fellow vintage Alps SKCC user here. Looks great!Dernubenfrieken wrote: ↑Just got this in two days ago. Yes, I agree about the label, but I would have been retarded to pass the occasion because of itohaimark wrote: ↑That "eazy pc" label is horrid. Nice switches and board, though.

Awesome board derzemel. I've been after something like that for a while. Enjoy. How do you like the switches?

I like them more than the vintage blacks. They have a deeper sound (the doubleshot keycaps may help here too) and they are the perfect weight for me.scottc wrote: ↑Awesome board derzemel. I've been after something like that for a while. Enjoy. How do you like the switches?

Got a brand new, sealed-in-box Ozone Strike Battle for 50€ yesterday
Retail price is 85, shipped. Good price for a standard layout TKL, genuine MX Brown switches, red backlight, aluminum top. Now I need to get rid of the ugly logo and put proper keycaps on there as stock ABS is crap obviously...
