It's the keyboard from a Sanyo MBC-550 computer.

Not sure on this, but it could have Space Invaders, since a "Lynk PC122" is listed as having such on the NMB Hi-Tek wiki page. If it's right, it'd probably be grey tactiles.
I think so, looking at the profile of the bottom two rows of keys and webwit's photos here: http://webwit.nl/input/lynk/

The seller has six left and I can proxy overseas. Anyone in for a group buy?

These are Key Tronic. :(
Edit: At least some of these are Key Tronic

Aren't those Lynks just Model M122 rebrands? That's what I've found in my research.

Look at threads over at GH.

It looks like there are several different flavors of these Lynk keyboards: M122 based, HiTek based, and Key Tronic based.

I did buy one of these. Looking more closely the the auction photos and webwit's photos there are some differences: the bar behind the top row of function keys, the function key labeling, the font used.

Engicoder did you buy one of these?

If it actually works and the key feel isn't godawful it won't be a completely wasted purchase. Otherwise, well, it's a disappointment.

Yes I did, and no its never a complete waste :) The one I received differs from the keyboard pictured in the auction listing in an couple ways:
1) The 1.75 mods on the bottom row are slightly stepped (The outside 1/8 of the cap), which is a very distinctly Key Tronic key shape.
2) Its absolutely filthy.

Edit: Also it uses the Key Tronic font which has a larger font on the number row than the one in the auction picture.
I hope you got lucky and got space invaders. :D

Yeah looks like a Fujitsu Leaf Spring. Slighty expensive but nice looking, way nicer than mine.
I put in an offer and got it. It's curious that this one has brown hues and two taller feet (one missing) vs all the others that I have seen that have grey hues and no tall feet. I'll take pics of it when it arrives and I can clean it up. I'm sure they're all the same anyway.

The computer is a Volker Craig terminal. They used some pretty vintage stuff.

I picked up one of these from the local Goodwill affiliate. Mine is either not XT/AT compliant, or broken. I still need to get some better photos.

Sure about that hypkx? Not all Rafi keyboards are Hall effect, providing that this is a Rafi keyboard. Seems this is a keyboard for a Channel Sounder RUSK FAMS, RS-232 being the serial port.

You are right I am not sure if this keyboard is hall effect, one of the keycaps says Rafi that is clear, I suggested hall effect because the keycaps shape.

It looks too thin to be hall effect. Aren't hall effect switches very tall?

No problem hypkx, just thought I'd mention it. I only know my two RAFI's that are both non hall effect kb's. Here you go:

I'm pretty sure OleVoip could tell us what kind of RAFI this is.

Yes quite low profile, the hall effect variant is like that also:

RAFI RS 74 C — 2.5 mm travel, Hall effect
RAFI RS 74 M — 2.5 mm travel, mechanical
RAFI RS 76 C — 4 mm travel, Hall effect
RAFI RS 76 M — 4 mm travel, mechanical
RAFI RS 76 MX — 4 mm travel, mechanical, translucent

No sure if this has been posted but there's still some available.

Cherry MX8000 (G808200LPEDE2). Got one for 30€ incl. shipping, plenty of MX Brown switches to harvest and 48 relegendable keycaps.

It's true that all full-travel standard keyboards that RAFI currently offers have hall-effect switches underneath those caps. But this does not apply to vintage boards.
The mesa shape simply is the RAFI standard keycap shape since about 1990 as opposed to the roundish "nail protection" shape that dominated previously. It does not imply anything about the switch mechanics. Both cap designs can still be ordered and be used with both switch types, mechanical RS 76 M or hall effect RS 76 C, which share the same physical dimensions. Thus, you cannot tell for an unknown RAFI keyboard model whether it has mechanical or hall-effect switches without having a look underneath the caps or at the back of the PCB. This, however, is a well-known model.
seebart wrote: I'm pretty sure OleVoip could tell us what kind of RAFI this is.
Cheers for the flowers. This is a late 1980s or early 90s B7 keyboard, with an AT interface and a Microsoft serial mouse emulation, which the D sub connector belongs to. Since the PCBs have to be different, RAFI has rarely offered models in both variants, mechanical and hall-effect. The B7 model was only available with RS 76 M keys and has been dropped from the catalogue some years ago, whereas its sibling B8 has been superseded by a hall-effect model, B8-C.

That's good value actually, those Ortek battlecruisers don't come along that often, and they never come cheap. That one is NOS though!
