Letters are just a little bit shiny, but no fading on the pad printed keys.
Scratches on End, PgUp, Interrupt, Desk PC and right Control keys. Deeper scratches on green Yours key, pink Enter Xmit, Attach keys and the top casing

Fair price? Around $30-$40 USD. Bigfoots are a little harder to sell since they're more bulky, but you should be able to for that price. Of course, that depends on the condition of the board.pcaro wrote: ↑How much is a IBM Model F bigfoot 5291 Keyboard?

But note that to get a Bigfoot to Europe you usually need to add some $$ shipping, since these keyboards tend to be found mostly in US/Canada (which seems to be the natural habitat for ... Bigfoot/Sasquatch ). So in Europe the price could be higher (and the shipping, less).

$10-20 or so, I'd guess. I've picked up plenty newer, and older, Apple gear for nothing. Besides the occasional oddball like the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh, they don't hold up at all, way too common.

You'd be better off heading to a dedicated mac forum like 68kmla. Not sure how many old Mac collectors hang out around here.Jimmy54669 wrote: ↑Hi cant find any of them on Ebay or else where so maybe someone can help me its a Apple Powerbook 540 its still working but far from mint condition, anything worth ?

And inside Europe? Ooh… that should be worth a lot! Hasu's BT and Matteo's PBT are in high demand. Just needs some real damping rings instead of those pads!ajx wrote: ↑How much for an HHKB in great condition? Silenced with ironed landing pads, Hasu's BT controller and PBT Spacebar

I prefer those pads but they need to be ironed which its done
Hypersphere rings feel basically similar but it doesnt need to be ironed or cut off
Thrust me, it feels great if it was ironed at the right thickness
I have little typing video, i will put it when keyboard will be on sale

I've got two awesome boards I got in the past few months, but I need money for my "Get Scott an Ellipse F62" fund. How much are they worth?
- First off, there's a mystery Triumph Adler board. Cherry DE Doubleshots, nice vintage MX blacks (of course), super high profile F-row.
(I'm so sorry for the picture quality, just realised they're all terrible - will replace them tomorrow)
- G80-1501HAD, MX blacks, nice single-tone DE doubleshot keycaps. Used, medium shininess.

Say, if you need some money for an F62, you know I'm looking for a HASRO..
In all seriousness, I'll try my best to give an appraisal once you've got some better pics up. I can't see a bloody thing from that one.

Alright, the intense shame from that awful picture forced me to pull out my work phone which has a far superior camera.
First, I've got the G80-1501HAD. Turns out the keys aren't shiny at all, it was just the light in the other room... The nice Cherry texture is still intact. Very good condition, from what I can see:
Here's the mystery TA board. Awesome condition. Case seems to be made entirely of metal (!). Caps feel great. It even came with a matching monitor if someone wants that.
Edit: photekq, you'll be ashamed but I haven't even used my HASRO yet. I left my blue cube at my family home and the PS2 converter I have with me is utter crap and stopped working a few weeks ago. I was considering at least putting the caps on my FaceW, but I'd have to mix with doubleshots and that feels dirty...

Does the TA have any shine, dents, permanent marks, etc. any on of the keycaps? It doesn't look yellowed at all from those pics.. Does it show any signs of it in person?
How awful! I'd use it every day!scottc wrote: ↑Edit: photekq, you'll be ashamed but I haven't even used my HASRO yet. The numpad and some surrounding caps are reasonably shiny, it seems like it was used for data entry. There's also some scratches on the spacebar. The keycaps don't appear yellowed at all to me, though they're all a different colour to both the 1501HAD and regular doubleshots (a more beige colour with brown doubleshot legends) so it's hard to tell for sure. If I had to bet, I'd say they were all unyellowed as they're completely uniform in colour from what I can see.

It's a tricky board to appraise. I'll have a think over the next few days.

Thanks! How about the 1501? I know it's no HASRO, but realistically I'm probably not going to use it so I might as well pass it on.
Edit: Just taken a look around the forums... the outcome is not great! Seems like roughly €30...

Yeah, the 1501 is very common. 25-30EUR seems about right.

The F-row caps are really fantastic, they're why I wanted it in the first place! It's such a shame I don't have all of my collection with me or else I'd have a much easier time finding things to get rid of for the F62...

Rough guideline $600-700 for NIB I think.jerue wrote: ↑How much should I expect to spend on an ANSI mx5000? Either old or newer version w/Windows keys, any working condition with all keys, but of course the closer to NIB the better.

That isn't really too bad at all (at least I think)...time to learn how to spend as little as possible on food to maximize keyboard budget...

It depends a lot on condition and whether the legends have started to fade/change colour, whether there is any texture loss. For ANSI dyesubs my general guideline is $500 for a NIB keyboard, $300 for good condition but clearly used.kbdfr wrote: ↑Just out of curiosity, how much could a G81-3081 SAU be worth nowadays?
