This is very nice, but can you use a darker red and darker green? Maybe RBC and VV?7bit wrote: ↑ Of all designs, I like this one the most:

Yeah, nobody else does sphericals right now. And while dyesub can produce some very nice looking keycaps, you are limited to dark(er) legends on light(er) keycaps, which eliminates any chance of having light legends on dark or richly colored caps. Until Vortex or some other manufacturer figures out how to do double-shot PBT sphericals, I encourage 7bit to stick with SP. Besides, he's been working with them for many years and has a solid relationship with them. Going somewhere else means having to build up that rapport all over again from scratch.

I concur, I prefer ABS over PBT any day. Well worn ABS caps have that "home" feeling to them.Muirium wrote:Ach! ABS. Enough already!

That suggestion sounds a lot like Retroblightzslane wrote: ↑I'd like to see a set of aged/cream keycaps with NN (black) legends. Maybe paired up with biege/brown mods or charcoal gray mods. Yellow and orange might work as supplemental colorways to Honey, but I don't think we've exhausted the core vintage colorways yet (hence the cream/biege and charcoal gray suggestion).
But I too would like to see some more vintage/yellow themed sets.

Would be possible to do these kinds of sets for ibm boards with buckling spring?
Sorry but capacitive F switches are the only switch that love. Would be neat to have a dark set for the unsaver once I complete it.
I know the demand is much lower, but I'm sure there must be others that would love a buckling spring spherical set of caps.

There isn't anyone really making spherical caps for buckling spring keyboards. Signature Plastics definitely doesnt and never will. Unicomp is pretty much the only place to get replacement caps right now. You can order custom printed keys, and have a few color choices from them, but that's about it.Redmaus wrote: ↑Would be possible to do these kinds of sets for ibm boards with buckling spring?

We would need some tools to make the keys:Redmaus wrote: ↑Would be possible to do these kinds of sets for ibm boards with buckling spring?

1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75 and whatever size the space bar has.
Any larger key can be split up into 2.

Threadcrapping is most of the fun postin here at DT!
However, HellOfKitten is not my style
After 3 1/2 pages, this is what I like:
The rest are too dark, too many colors, too unlikeable colors, or not my taste, or had been done before (SA Retro).

Too dark and too many colors, perhaps not your taste, and back by (un)popular demand and now with front printed legends..7bit wrote: ↑The rest are too dark, too many colors, too unlikeable colors, or not my taste, or had been done before (SA Retro).
And with fewer colors... TKL and with a legend SP is unlikely to produce..
