I'm pretty sure the little fingers keyboard actually has white Alps clones, maybe wrong about that though.

Seriously, this guy does not deserve a cent for being such a scummy dude if those accusations are true. I know heresay is pretty lame, but I'll take JD's word for it, since he's a really stand up guy.

I read through the thread, and you can get more of JD's side if you keep scrolling.
Lets all report the listing

If this person has no problems selling someone else's KMAC, it makes me wonder if his kish is legitimate. Anybody who frequents GH know about TheFlyingRaccon borrowing a kishsaver?

Ouch. I was just about to pool together all of my savings for this, but after hearing about the seller, that's not happening. I guess I have a better chance of getting a genuine kish on DT ;(E3E wrote: ↑I was about to make a joke about everyone backing off so I could have my first IBM, but...Azhdar wrote: ↑emdude wrote: ↑A Kishsaver..!

I'm fairly certain I've seen that exact kishsaver elsewhere, same wear and everything. So I'd say that, yes, it's stolen.Redmaus wrote: ↑ If this person has no problems selling someone else's KMAC, it makes me wonder if his kish is legitimate.

This is probably the only 70% keyboard I'd actually like to have in my collection, but I can't afford the crazy prices SSKs tend to go for right now.
I always figured most Apple keyboards were of the tactile, not clicky variety. Someone should ask the seller if he can pull a keycap just to be sure.ohaimark wrote: ↑http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-ADB-KEYBO ... 2091927325

Apple didn't produce many clicky keyboards, however this is a SIIG board made for Macs, not Apple produced.

After doing some research, it seems as though these are only known to have come with SKCM switches. I have some hope they're genuine White Alps with slits, and not the simplified switches that they often get confused with.Blaise170 wrote: ↑Apple didn't produce many clicky keyboards, however this is a SIIG board made for Macs, not Apple produced.
I asked the seller if they might remove a keycap to be sure, but they declined out of fear of damaging the board. So it's a shot in the dark, really.

To be fair, Alps keycaps often do take a surprising amount of force to pry off, especially if they're old and have been sitting for a while. I have actually broken a few stems on an old junky Focus board, but the plastic on that was clearly degraded as things were literally snapping off everywhere.gogusrl wrote: ↑We need to get Chyros to make a video about pulling keycaps / how to do it / why it's not dangerous and spam that to all the sellers
Even so, yes, I wish I could point more sellers toward Chyros' video. That seller was the second one in as many weeks to decline a request to pull a keycap out of fear of damaging the board.
