JUST WHAT IS GOING ON???
HAMDE, ok, kinda rare. Dye-subs, yes, rare, especially the SAU kind. But regular G80 HAD keyboards? In german, which seems the most common variety???

Tasty BIN listings don't last long! I've seen some good ones disappear within a few minutes. Underpriced Blue Alps keyboards don't last 5 minutes, to use a frustrating example. I've missed out on some real bargainsRedmaus wrote: ↑How did I miss this in December? http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-IBM-Mod ... 7675.l2557

I wonder how people find things so quickly. eBay's saved searches will e-mail you but that can take a day...
...maybe RSS feeds provide a faster update. I added "&_rss=1" to the end of a search URL and got an RSS feed.

Is that due to eBay vultures who circle the marketplace at all times or do they have a kind of bot that alerts them for keywords?Tuntematon wrote: ↑ Tasty BIN listings don't last long! Nothing, that's a G80-1000 which is the older nicer better built version. That auction is insane, those bidders must be well...Redmaus wrote: ↑What is so special about the G80?

When I do it it's manual vulturing. I keep multiple eBay searches open on auto-refresh and check them often when I'm at my computer. I think it would be hard to use any kind of bot because desirable keyboards don't necessarily have a surefire keyword. Blue Alps keyboards are often not even labelled as such. I think there are just enough people staked out on eBay that when something good does come up there is certain to be someone ready to pull trigger.shreebles wrote: ↑Is that due to eBay vultures who circle the marketplace at all times or do they have a kind of bot that alerts them for keywords?Tuntematon wrote: ↑ Tasty BIN listings don't last long!
