Last time I bought a keyboard from J-Subculture, it was like $15 for economy and $30 for EMS shipping.

Tenso's pretty good:

help-f53/buying-from-japan-quick-guide-t5984.html

I used them to get my HHKB and accessories (via Amazon Japan) shipped to the US. Cost something like $40 if I recall. They let you name your own customs value and store stuff in their warehouse so you can combine shipments if you need to.

In the US I've never had to bother with customs, as long as the incoming value is less than like $800 (that's how much you can take across international borders at least). We are pretty fortunate in that way.

Yeah, you and the Aussies have it real good! The rest of us have to work to make it that way…

From my experience, you can't send a message on Avito if you're not in Russia.

An odd one, looks like a Japanese 4704. No idea if it's got buckling springs, but I especially like the caps. The alphas, in particular, look very SA-like. I'd feel inclined to grab one if I knew they were compatible with my Model F (or maybe I'd just try an Xwhatsit instead... plenty of room for function keys and a nav cluster in that far right blank block!). Lots of stock, too, by the look of it.

That's the Pingmaster! :) It's been on for ages, but it has a very prohibitive shipping cost. I'd have bought one myself if it wouldn't cripple me xD . Alps SKCC Green.

About 100 CAD total to get it up here, not too terrible compared to what I'm used to. Shame about the Alps though, those caps are damn fine.

...Would it even work with a converter?

We should do an EU group buy for these, I've been wanting one for a while now.

Crazy canadian, I think TMK has firmware support for it.

i've contacted mendelson a couple of times to know if they have any option for cheaper EU shipping and there is none.
I'm in if someone wants to do a groupbuy!

I imported one of these from mendelson, the packaging was good. Shipping and tax cost me more than the keyboard.

Those caps don't look very alps like. Looks more like the Futaba version.

Interestingly, the FCC ID ends in FK777, but it doesn't look like it's an actual FK-777 I think (a highly elusive board).

If you all would like, I'd be willing to buy it and proxy it. It's usually never more than line $30 to ship a keyboard to the EU in my experience.

Let's see :)

I gotta admit those G81-HADs come with a very neat keycap holder for the dish washer / hydrogen peroxide bath
400€ isn't enough !

That's orihalcon, and I think he'd go a bit lower for a direct sale through DT.
