wow.. it's a pity it has German layout and not all the keys I'd need..
And the wooden computer case really makes me smile about how computers were assembled in the past..
but I really like that chocolate color! yours really also looks great and almost new..
also having such a big control and a so tiny carriage return let's me actually think about mainframes and 3270 terminals..

Bondwell 310 SuperSlim Laptop. Should have MX blues, though I haven't confirmed. Fairly cheap for U.S. buyer.

Thanks, I got it for $24. Regardless whether it's mechanical out not, I should have some fun restoring those laptops.Tuntematon wrote: ↑http://www.ebay.com/itm/281923894579?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

you guys in the USA: could you maybe check if this is still available?
http://centralcoast.ebayclassifieds.com ... d=30797626
looks interesting in particular the second keyboard with 102 keys, isn't it?
Are those Model Fs or what? (still learning here)
I just know what they where used for much better on the first AS mainfrmaes..

Didn't even know the US had classifieds! I don't know if it's M or F based on the image but you should be able to look up the model number. Can't right now or I would myself.

Definitely an M, 122-key Fs never had a striped function row. The 102 is likely to be an M as well, I've never seen an F referred to as an "enhanced" keyboard, that's always been a term reserved for Ms.Blaise170 wrote: ↑Didn't even know the US had classifieds! And they are local to me too.
Funny thing, they accepted an offer I gave them, and the deal was all but confirmed, essentially. We had it planned, but since I couldn't confirm due to being caught up with a funeral I was attending, and because people started bidding, the seller then redacted his offer.
I was totally transparent with him too, in that he could make a lot more if he left it to auction, but no, he was cool with it, but now either he's begun to see what I've meant or is struck by a sense of moral justice to let people bid on it. Perhaps both.
Either way, I'll just say that I'm a little more than annoyed about it.
Guess I should've taken the time to respond to him on the first notice I had, but he took his merry time getting back to me anyways. Oh well.

Lol around how much more did you tell him he could make if he kept it on auction? I sent him an offer also and he was about to accept it, i asked him to relist as buy it now and send the URL or send a private offer, then he changed his mind and wanted to keep the auction going.

Good for him for not accepting offers from you sleazy backdoor lowballers! If he's going to sell it to a stranger he should sell it to the stranger that will give him the most money.

I read somewhere (either *ipster or Daniel Beardsmore) that you can remove the clicky leaf of the Alps switch to make it (just) tactile (as it has two of them, one to click, one to actuate IIRC).

It will make it linear, not tactile. Alps tactile leaves are modified click leaves. They should feel very smooth, and Alps fortunately don't require desoldering to modify, only some very basic tools like a toothpick or cocktail stick.Laser wrote: ↑I read somewhere (either *ipster or Daniel Beardsmore) that you can remove the clicky leaf of the Alps switch to make it (just) tactile (as it has two of them, one to click, one to actuate IIRC).

That's a nice example of ebay madness considering G80-3000 HAD is not a rare item in Germany. And the "cheap" one is even a nicer 1000 series. Ridiculous.Wodan wrote: ↑400€ G80-3000 HAD for stunning 40€ shipped:
