Hello,

I just make a survey in MediaVida (spanish gaming forum) about the use on Mechanical Keyboard, here are the results (first 100 people):

¿Mechanical or Rubberdome?

The survey is in spanish but you can complete if you want and i will update the results:

If you don't understand something just ask here, i will try to translate tomorrow anyway :)

¿Cómo me he perdido esta encuesta en mediavida? Será porque sólo entro al hilo de los teclados mecánicos...

Interesting to see Corsair & Razer trailing behind CM and Ducky. I did not expect that.

A lot of people were using black Cherries but nobody chose it for a "first choice switch"?

Yeah and all those are currently produced to be fair, he could add Matias but that's a niche product for people like us. Only crazy people like me prefer 20-30 year old keyboards.

You might not get very representable results from the DT crowd though macharius, many people here like myself are not your average keyboard user.

Possibly for the same reason you won't find Hall Effect or Beam Springs there :) Basically, you can't really get keyboards with them nowadays unless you dig in the trash.

So instead of getting an amazing keyboard for free they buy crappy ones at a premium, makes sense to me xD .

Well if every trash pile contained vintage keyboards I'd change profession long ago :D

The people in this survey obviously aren't the kind of people who are into beamsprings, though, are they? :p

Reminds me of that Reddit /r/mk questionnaire where Reddit users were asked their keyboard favourite forum and - shock!!! - Reddit came up first, causing R*pster to declare that Reddit was the #1 MOST POPULAR KEYBOARD FORUM... IN THE WORLD.

That's funny, because to the Dutch it sounds like a mad scientist with a German accent.
