Thanks scott, I've had it for quite a while though. I gotta sport that Wingnut man, I only have so many Cherry boards. The Cherry G80-0499 is the only PCB mounted keyboard that I own where I do not miss a metal plate. There is no flex on this baby, none.

You should see the FaceW I've got with the alu case. No plate to be seen but I promise you it's one of the most solid boards you'll ever feel! The size and shape of the PCBs and the case they're in make a huge difference in flex.

Yeah I believe that, a custom Cherry setup in alu case is on my list.

Here's my most recent Topre acquisition :)

This one was made for use with IBM Micro CADAM Helix, which (as far as I can tell) is still popular in Japan despite being discontinued in the west. Not much to say about it otherwise...IBM's model number for the Topre version is 5617-CXB. It is the successor to Korean-made 5617-CE6 which has been discontinued. These function pads retail at a ridiculous ¥70,000 (~560 EUR).

Interesting, last time I saw one of the 32 button boxes (SGI, Sun, HP and IBM all had them) used with CATIA has been quite _some_ time ago.

:D I like how they decided that Analysis needed to be shortened, but apparently 'Parametric' and 'Dimension' are short enough.

Hahah, nice! Now that you're moving to Ireland lolpes, it's probably best that you got rid of all of those shifts... there's a phrase "getting the shift" that you're probably going to have to become acquainted with soon. ;)

I got me a Bluegaloo set, too, they're really nice! Now I'll have to find me a fitting typewriter ... ;-)

I don't have a typewriter, but I think a set of the bright grey/white G80-1501 caps might look cool with Bluegaloo! Anyone have a set to try?

I paired them with a Skidata set for now, which looks nice, but I don't have a fitting 6,25u space bar.

I got my Bluegaloo set today! Fresh blue indeed, not sure yet if better with dark or light caps together.
