21000 lbs is about 7000 keyboards if they weigh 3 lbs each, and if you are a company that needs that many, it's a pretty good deal at a little over $1/board.

No company needs 7000 dirty, untested keyboards... Considering a new one doesn't cost much more than one dollar if you order more than one

Reusable or not, I would say caps-only sale is a great find. If i was in Germany, I would be tempted by this.tentator wrote: ↑ and also question if somebody ever tried to reuse some nice ibm selectric I keycaps like those:

I'm having a hard time buying "near-mint." The cable is very conspicuously not at all mint. Maybe the rest of the keyboard is nicer than it looks. It could just be the amateur sex tape lighting that makes it look grimy.

It's near-mint vintage: Not enough dirt and yellowing to be truly vintage.

Look at the dust and hair under the caps and the dirt on the keycaps. The caps look shiny too, though it's hard to say for sure. Just because it's not yellow doesn't mean it's not dirty. If this is near-mint I'm Alexander the Great.zuglufttier wrote: ↑It's near-mint vintage: Not enough dirt and yellowing to be truly vintage.

I'm with you on that one, Chyros. No way in Hell is that near mint.
Edit: Seeing eBay sellers attempting to emulate my listings is like watching a child imitating a parent. They're sloppy, uneducated, and painfully awkward.

Maybe you should edit your posts until it is shipped. Luckily it's in that other layout I am less fond of so I'm not heartbroken. Much Is it blue?
And if you paid what I'm seeing for postage, you got ripped off!
