Those Dark/Navy Blues are really nice, I wouldn't compare them to MX Greens though. Mine seem to feel a little like a mix of modern MX Whites and MX Blues. Its click is a little bit higher pitched than Whites, but still more silent than Blues. The tactile bump is a little less pronounced than on modern MX-Blues, making the switch feel pretty smooth.

I cannot fathom why they would use completely different switches for the enter and space bar. Why not just a heavier Cherry switch?

Right, it's not like Cherry doesent have an option for that. Instead they go with the mediocre and loud Omrons.

While the Omrons are really much louder than the dark blues without keycaps, the keycaps of the B200 somehow amplify the click of the cherry switches to a point where it isn't even funny anymore.
With Cherry OG Dyesubs the sound of the dark blues is really nice, kind of like a muffled, less high pitched blue. With the stock keycaps however, they sound like a more rattly mx blue, which imo. is really bad. The enter and space key don't sound much louder (max 2 times, while without keycaps it is at least 3x), but crisper. I don't think that Cherry offers a switch like that.
I could honestly imagine, that Bondwell/Highscreen actually wanted it that way, not just because of a lack of parts. While I don't like it (I prefer the dark blues/whites and non-clicky switches), I can imagine that some people may have liked it. If I'm not mistaken, typewriters had a rather loud enter as well, so it may have been to accomodate to what people were used to.

I already upgraded to a Pi3 a few weeks ago. It's my xbmc box and it's amazing, really couldn't have asked for more (on my 720p projector).

Nice copper heatsinks on yours, I tried to find some that small but had to settle on Al.

I use mine with osmc on my 4k television (I know only 1080p output from pi ). With a external hard drive and a external 5.1 soundcard and music system its really nice.

It's from 03-03-1993, a bit dirty, but it does not matter (especially since I paid a total of 134Eur for it )

I also hope that mine has all the rivets intact to keep it stock. I do not think that bolt-modding it just for the sake of it has any advantages.

Well, it has the advantage of allowing you to change the layout of the keyboard any time you want. Split shift? ISO? Split backspace? All no problem and I use two out of those three on my bolt-modded SSKs.

The easiest way to find out if any rivets are broken is by unplugging it, and shaking it around a bit. If it rattles, there are broken rivets inside, unless the seller removed those.

Unfortunately the shift only splits JIS style (1 + 1.75), not HHKB (1.75 + 1). But still a nice mod!

Just bought a black and a white aluminum Pok3r case for 100€ shipped.
Hope that was a good price, the seller said they are in perfect condition.

I could buy a 60% anodized case from China for 67€, but then I'd have to wait and I definitely wanted a low profile case, which the Pok3r cases are.

I like interesting keyboards. I picked up this IBM XT keyboard on eBay for a decent price (more pics here http://www.ebay.ca/itm/172173671502 ) with some interesting key caps that drew me to it. I'm fairly certain the dark key caps are covers over the stepped keys. I don't think they made replacement Model F key caps back in the day but it's interesting either way. I didn't ask the seller so we'll see what they are when it comes. Some didn't like the stepped keys back in the day, I guess.

Boxed IBM PC XT keyboard with key cap covers OR replaced key caps? We'll see.

My first small form factor keyboard




I bugged a friend who traveled to Japan to get it.
It has a sturdier feeling than the Novatouch. Also it has such a nice sound to it, but this might be because the keyboard is smaller and keycaps are made out of pbt.
Anyway, I am happy with it and I think I can get used with a 65%

Now I need to find a red Esc and Enter topre keycaps to match the spacebar
