I wouldn’t say 8.90€ shipped for a keyboard with MY switches and lasered caps is cheap.Dra wrote: ↑[…] Very cheap G81 that seems to have gotten very little use and somehow nobody noticed

By the way, considering his list of completed sales,
I think it is safe to assume the seller at least reads here

No one in their right mind would spend that kind of $$$ on something like that. Ridiculous.Tuntematon wrote: ↑Could be, but all the bidding action is from established eBayers.jerue wrote: ↑This was posted here a few pages back...more shill bidding? looks like it

The fact that they aren't zero feedback accounts are a bit weird. But I agree with seebart, the $20 bid is the last sane one. Unless they know something we don'tseebart wrote: ↑No one in their right mind would spend that kind of $$$ on something like that. I think that I posted the keyboard receiving all of those insane bids... Magnetic Reed switches aren't worth that much. It's madness.

With a 1985 build date there is a good chance it has the metal leaf variant.

A warning about Omrons by the way; although they are super duper clicky and quite fun, the switches appear to be quite electrically unreliable and they tend to fail over time for some unknown reason. If you like clicky switches they're definitely a fun switch to try out though .

Well it's a rare one that's for sure. And that auction will not stay low ball $$$ that's for sure also. That's why I wrote GB, those are all nice boards. Not sure if that 122 is a F or M though. The one on the top left is a 3178 Display Terminal, two Bigfoot, the 122 and the rare IBM Displaywriter Model F.
Yes we do have it in our wiki, it's a IBM Displaywriter Model F Keyboard.

I'm pretty sure it's going to go well above my spending limit!alh84001 wrote: ↑I think everyone would like to take that one. Not even a cat picture may help
If you end up with some spare bigfoots though, I may be interested.

I would totally take that F122 if it is one, but I wouldn't want the rare one because I want to keep the original caps with it and I don't like ISO
I hope someone from DT gets it though, I would love to see a thread about it.
