I think it's a bit too early to say, it may just be the DC-2014s. I don't think anyone should be expect hyperbolic prices for their boards at this point though, not to say they might not still go for a reasonably high amount.

I think it has blown over somewhat now that supply has met demand. I think my 5161 will go for about $130, which I am satisfied with. Still lots of silly early bidders.

I've been there before. Thankfully it has never happened, but I definitely had moments of "OH GOD HAVE TO CHECK OUT NOW NOW NOW PLEASE DON'T GET THE PASSWORD WRONG, TIME IS PRECIOUS OHFUUUUUU--" and then relief.

It looks like the base level for blue Alps is about $100, more desirable examples maybe up to $150, rarer and even more desirable blue Alps, $200+.

Can't really put a solid price on them, to be honest.

I almost experienced a spot of that last night. A friend had Battlefield Vietnam running for old time's sake, and once he'd crashed his third Huey, I shoved him off the keyboard to show him how it's done. Plopped his mouse right down on his Monterey's numpad, "bugger!", then shoved the whole keyboard left to make room and very nearly triggered a drinks avalanche.
