That's a nice set of keys if you did grab a HADapter set and the price seems to be more than fair.
I hope one of you has bought it before I am done defeating the voice of reason which is telling me that I don't need it because I already own two vintage cherry sets.

This is only interesting... It's a 'board that probably uses Cherry switches, yet has a touchpad from an Alps owned company. I'm sure this has happened before, but it amused me.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but elecplus' (former?) Model F supplier has been repeatedly relisting his "APL" Model F, using apparently the same sets of pictures, every time one of them gets bought:

Yes, they are genuine. I have seen them, and he does test them on the original terminals they went to. They clean them beautifully. They are in very nice condition when he is done, but they do not take them apart. When he is finished with the APLs, I get what is left

"Very little stock" is entirely untrue. Try 50K sq feet of stock, and that is just one warehouse. He has more than one warehouse.

Don't know if I've seen that range of part number before. Looks legit though, there were also variations on the APL's with blue tertiary legends on the alphas (not just the blue secondaries on the function keys). And some of the non-english ones are additionally interesting.

Don't know where you'd source that side-printed APL backspace key anyway.

Glad to know they're not going into a dumpster.

Interesting.. Based on the above eBay listing, I guess the new keyboards don't have boxes to go with them, but still, it's strange that the difference in price is so large.

He had shipping set to FedEx overnight on that auction. His other auctions have economy shipping and are much more reasonable. Might have simply been an oversight.

Oh, it's not that, it's the price difference of $55 between a new keyboard and a new keyboard w/ box; seems a little odd, but that's just me. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if the seller marks up his other keyboards now.

EDIT: It also appears that only one of the keyboards that Cindy listed is readily PS/2 compatible too, according to the wiki. Those will need some work to make them PC-compatible.

Me: Do you have any terminal keyboards for the 2260, 3270, 3101, and 5250 families of terminals?
Rappaport: Those are exceedingly rare, and we don't have them. We get them once every two or three years.

If they don't have keyboards for mass-manufactured terminals, then I don't have much hope for others.

@emdude: I am in the process of selling keyboards that I will not have time to clean, refurbish and convert. This includes (or will include in the future) some keyboards stripped of caps and sold for their switches, keyboard parts, keycap sets, and assorted keycaps.

My wife handles all the sales and shipping. I checked just now about the IBM 5140 boards sans caps -- she did use the same photo for essentially identical boards, although prices reflected differences in the apparent condition of each one. She was not aware that each board should have had its own unique photo. I've asked her to correct the situation as soon as possible. The active listing is undergoing bids, but she may be able to amend the listing by adding a photo. However, this probably will not happen until sometime tomorrow. My apologies for any confusion this error may have caused.
