Agreed these are far more elegant. But if one can use a normal left arrow for backspace how about making some room for a brand new symbol?

Shouldn't the replace next be consistent with the replace symbol?
The attachment replace symbol? is no longer available
draw/annotate/score/edit/bitmap/etc.
The attachment pencil is no longer available
That is the revert or reload symbol.
Ok but then where is the redo/unrevert symbol?
I thought about using this as the undo/revert/reload/left rotation:

while this one is redo/unload/right rotation:

and this the replace/switch/substitute/loop/repeat (while not perfect for the last two terms):

Better loop/repeat/load/run/replace next suggestion:

Implement some kind of search function please. I used to use browser's ctrl-F with the previous format, it is impossible to do that now

Jessicup wrote: Am I missing something, or are there only 1.75u shifts in gray and green?

No violet makes me very sad

Edit: And no 1.5u R2 backspace :( I want to join this so badly, but with literally no HHKB support, I can't justify it :(
These come later. There are still some HYPER7 kits available from Round 6!
:o
jebbra wrote: Can we get the color chip code for each color used? And just realize the color distribution isn't as broad as last round (no blue 1u shift when there are another blue mods available). Or I just not yet see it? The website quite confusing tbh hehe.
I will add these missing keys later.
So, if I were to order a kit, would I be able to add the dvorak keys later?

Hey 7bit, i got a idea for how cheaper inter kits could be made. My idea would be only making the special letters for most germanic languages ÅÄÖÜ etc. And just those. My guess is it those were allot cheaper it would boost the amount sold.

The question is, what should go above those ÅÄÖÜ legends to match the other Cadet legends?

I dont care about the cadet legends, just give me the ÅÄÖ :)

It wont work very good since atleast Swedish and Norwegian also have completely different shiftoptions on all the numbers and believe me its a pita to program with. You could always leave the number-row blank but all other keys are also wrong like "_" and "<" etc.

It would be a cheaper way of doing it and it would probably attract more people from EU as the current inter kit costs 89 USD and is only avaliable in 2 colors.

Any chance to get some white on gray/ black modifiers and maybe a COMMODORE logo key like in Matt3os Retro GBs (picture from keypuller) ? 8-)

That color was necessary to make room for 7 and the alien.
;-)

However, I might add that color later. But first the other colors must make their way.
:-)
Please please please add black! I missed R6, and was totally looking forward to R7 to get some black keys!

To answer an earlier question of mine (and for anyone else looking), here is an order that will *mostly* cover an Ergodox. It's missing the 4x 2u modifier keys as none are available in Round 7.

ALGOL/CADET/US/VIOLETT
ALGOL/CURSYM/VIOLETTCREAM
ALGOL/CURBASE/VIOLETTCREAM
ALGOL/MOD100/CREAM
ALGOL/MOD150E/CREAM
ALGOL/SHIFT150/VIOLETTCREAM 2
ALGOL/TAB150/VIOLETTCREAM
ALGOL/APPLE100/CREAM
ALGOL/MODSYM100/VIOLETTCREAM 2
ALGOL/DUCKS150/CREAM

For reference, Ergodox needs 40x 1u keys for the base and 12x 1.5u, 20x 1u, 4x 2u keys for the modifiers.

Ergodox design is flawed it uses too much over 1U keys… sorry couldn't resist, but still true

I agree, esp when it comes to the modifiers mostly being 1u.

I would not mind, as long as it's there in some form. It's a once in a three years chance to get a perfect colourful kit.
7bit wrote: Again, there are blue and violett and violett on cream UK kits. Or just let me know which color you want and order at least 15 kits of it.
But are those old keys exactly same font size? Also it limits the colour choice. Could there be some sort of weird-latin-alphabet-country kit at least? I would buy and throw away whatever I don't need (99%).

Also some SHIFT pics are broken: http://www.7bit.info/algol/ALGOL_SINGLE ... YM175/BLUE

7Bit, just FYI, the link to the large PNG of ALGOL/ISO/VIOLETTCREAM is missing. It links to this that doesn't exist (yet): http://www.7bit.info/algol/png/ALGOL_IS ... TCREAM.png
Thanks a lot for adding all the additional ISO returns/kits though!

Quick question, I freely admit that I cannot afford to drop $200 on the sets i want all in one go. Do others pay you a bit each month to spread the cost?

Starting a petition for a R3 ESC key, please deskers fill the following formular:

[ ] Yes a R3 ESC is needed, let's bribe 7bit into it.
[ ] What's the deal with a R1 ESC which nobody uses and is only decorative, let's bribe 7bit into a R3 instead.
[ ] I wish there'd be a R2 ESC but putting it in the home row with a esc/ctrl combo is way cooler/efficient so let's bribe 7bit into a R3 instead.

Is R3 escape for a Planck/Preonic?

It better be ... cause if it is for a uniform R3 set, I will lobby against it.

Say "NO" to uniform R3! That's just crossdressed DSA in high heels.

If anyone wants an R3 Esc, then it is probably for capslock position. Planck/Preonic need a lot more than that.

The suggested Esc/Ctrl combo looks like an absolute gorgeous idea, though. Time to code that into my firmware.

Yes at capslock position, it is for one Planck I'm currently reviving (broken mini usb, trying to fit a magsafe connector in the case) and one Atomic clone (poker case and custom top plate) with duplicate layout and top row with software macros.

:D no crossdressing here!
Using R2-R3-R4 and a mix of R1 reversed / R3 for thumbs on the last row.
The Tipro is really great Wodan ;) typing everyday on it. Still have to either use tmk in my converter and ditch soarer firmware or put an atmega directly in it to reproduce the same behaviour. Not gonna stop using it :)

Can we have ALGOL/TOYSYM/R3, at least BLUE ? Trying to populate the top estate (four rows) of a Tipro with macro keys will not be handy with R1.

I ordered some kits, but the invoice combined them with previous r6 kits in one package. So I can't get my r6 keycaps until r7 kits were produces? :o
