My only concern are the "above-numpad" caps of the 1800 layout.

If you look back a little, 7Bit said that the legends on Round 7 are a little smaller than round 6 so they won't match 100%.Wodan wrote: ↑Okie cool ... I am preparing my Round7 orderSo another big question ...Spoiler:
The international kits from Round6, especially the SPH and CREAM kits, will they be 100% matching the VIOLETCREAM and GREY alpha kits from Round7 ?
So the Cream has changed from WV to WCK giving us potential color mismatches when using Round6 Cream international kits with Round 7 violet-on-cream alphanumerics. Especially when it's the keycap color and not the legend color ...Colors are:
GDC, RA, VCS, BFP, RDE and WCK.
- GDC is new to the show
- RA has been used in Round 4 for red ESCAPE key etc.
- VCS is the same as in the inital run of VIM keys.
- BFP and
- RDE are the same as in Round 4 and 6
- WCK is similar to WV in Round 4. The current WV is totally different, so I had to change.
- WCK has been used for Cream Cheese and Green, BTW.
AAAH man you are giving me heart attacks!7bit wrote: ↑ WCK is also used in Round 6 because WV looked completely different from what we had in Round 4. If SP did/does not mess up the color, they match.
OK, so I add INTER kits in all colors ...
LOL seriously this is insane. Just imagine the confusion about which kits are still "openly" available and which ones are in-production leftovers and which ones are in-stock leftovers ...7bit wrote: ↑There will be all of them and if there are too few orders, they get skipped!
Remember, the most successful color is produced first, but if there are enough keys to let that most successful color go into production, I might remove unsuccessful kits first.
No doubt about that!7bit wrote: ↑All I want is to speed up things this time. It is really difficult to run a group buy with so many extra options.
Tertiary legends were dropped in the international kit.GriffDeLaGriff wrote: ↑The int kit is missing the key with all 3 symbols ^¨~
And also the 3 symbols ><|
Maybe its deliberate.
I apologise in advance!7bit wrote:eddible, dsaf, Wodan and usopia are the guys who are responsible for any delays in any group buy ever!
I feel some sacrifices will have to be made...7bit wrote: ↑... if there are too few orders, they get skipped ... I might remove unsuccessful kits first ...
How about grey-on-cream ? Also pretty good, huh?eddible wrote: ↑I still can't decide which colour I want to order! If I had to pick one it'd be in the grey alphas with cream legends as I love the RGB cream modifiers.
That is pretty nice.7bit wrote: ↑My first computer had a rubberdome keyboard with model F like layout and German legends.
Because it was more convinient fopr programming and because the language specific keyboard driver took too much RAM, I've thrown it out and types on that German keyboard in it's native US-ANSI-layout. I've never looked back.
The key caps are all about aestetics, not about functionality. Nobody really needs Cadet- or ASCII- control legends, but they look nice.
Give me a few days and I upload all the colors and some add-on kit for cadet and ASCII support.

Implement some kind of search function please. I used to use browser's ctrl-F with the previous format, it is impossible to do that nowRoostrC0gburn wrote: ↑what happened to hyper7 kits? These come later. There are still some HYPER7 kits available from Round 6!Jessicup wrote: ↑Am I missing something, or are there only 1.75u shifts in gray and green?
No violet makes me very sad
Edit: And no 1.5u R2 backspace I want to join this so badly, but with literally no HHKB support, I can't justify it
Yes please add Colemak comptability for the Cadet alphas to you keysets! I'm ready to order 5!I will add these missing keys later.jebbra wrote: ↑Can we get the color chip code for each color used? And just realize the color distribution isn't as broad as last round (no blue 1u shift when there are another blue mods available). Or I just not yet see it? The website quite confusing tbh hehe.
What colors will this be available in, and when is it going to be up on the site? Sorry to keep asking, but they're my dream caps7bit wrote: ↑It is not yet in the list, but the legends are ready.ischeinfeld wrote: ↑I know the purpose of the CADET style is primarily to pay homage to history, but a small set of alternate caps (an example below) would greatly enhance its usability.
Is there a plan for a Hyper7 layout and/or front-printed greek characters?
