Fun fact, I totally forgot about photekq's K104 picture that I added to the wiki page myself. The fact that it's a different row is irrelevant. But blank SKCM caps are rare that's true. I can't find the pic of that Ortek now. Of course Tai-Hao made all these keycaps.

Yeah, neither does mine. Seems to be specific to the US variants.seebart wrote: ↑Very good point u-ra, my K104 does not have one for example. Thanks for pointing that out!

As did my former K101:u-ra wrote: ↑Chyros wrote: ↑The blank key isn't even on any Focus keyboard, or any Alps-mount board that I know of, in fact.
Some K104s have blanks. w/images/0/06/Monterey_K104_front_view_alternate.jpg
I'd say they commonly have blanks as far as I've seen, but as mentioned, it's probably a US vs EU model thing.

I had one of those a while back. Here's the photo I saved. It has some nifty feet for angling purposes -- those knurled squares on the back rotate asymmetrically to raise it off the desk.

blue oval board

how does the h410e differ from the h412?
Also here's a focus board with, what looks to be, some alps clone switch

The H410 has an AT pluig. Other than that I think they're quite similar. The Focus definitely has clones.//gainsborough wrote: ↑blue oval board

Worth it, considering it's going to cost 83 US dollars in total?

How unfortunate that it has the plastic clips for the cover but not the cover itself.manna wrote: ↑http://www.ebay.com/itm/Focus-FK2001-Me ... SwNRdX2e7m

I have a set of those clips, too, but no cover.

Thanks for the picture ohaimark, on the ebay one the layout was hard to get.ohaimark wrote: ↑I had one of those a while back. Here's the photo I saved. It has some nifty feet for angling purposes -- those knurled squares on the back rotate asymmetrically to raise it off the desk.
Not exactly the best layout around, that esc key so close to the exec one may have led to industrial disasters Though those caps are beautiful.

*edit: no metall backplate, just a very thick metal switch plate and a electro isolation shield.

... and I think I'm too stupid to find a blue alps board in GER. I bet I would spend a ton of money for fake alps or the 'wrong' alps.

The same seller has posted a DC-2014 and a DC-3014. Both are a bit overpriced considering the shine on the caps and the damaged logo badge on the DC-3014. The seller is also in New Orleans -- I wonder if the keyboards went through one or more hurricane floods. Even without being submerged, it is so humid in New Orleans, the keyboard springs are probably adorned with Spanish moss and various strains of fungi.
