We are all aware of our precious Wangs. Their feel is some of the best you could ask for from the Japanese. Nice tactile feedback and a good profile, especially on the bottom row.

Best of all, they shouldn't discolor with age.

We are well aware. That's why comments like this are "slightly" disturbing:

Oh lol you got to be kidding me, I worked on a project at Sanoma for almost two years right around the corner from that place. The Crowne Plaze next to the Crocs place was my second home ;)

But ADB things are not that rare. ;) A Griffin iMate for 50 cents is a bargain BTW, they are usually 40+ Euros.

That's a great deal, I thought I was fortunate to get one for $10 on eBay a while back..

It's nice to be able to use vintage Apple keyboards though, the M0115 and M0116 in particular are tons of fun to type on.

Was in a bin of cables, the guy solding these knew what it was though, but as it was with cables at 50 cents he just said take it for 50, I couldn't pass. Emdude you forgot one model and if I had to choose

Oh man, I still need to pick one of those up eventually; for a vintage ergonomic keyboard, they seem to be surprisingly common and cheap.

Yes, you should be able to get one for 30-50. But you may not like the Alps SKFS switches, they do not feel like Alps SKCM. But it's a great little keyboard.

I was thinking of the Apple IIgs keyboard :)
Emdude, there is currently one on ebay from spain with the keypad for around 25 euros if I remember correctly.

[edit] found it, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Adjustabl ... 1894363815
shipping kills the deal though

Hopefully it is repairable. If not, at least it won't be a hard decision to harvest it for caps and switches then.

I'm not sure what to do about it. It drops key releases every now and theeeeeen. It drops presses too, but not nearly as often.

And you're using it through a PS/2 port or Soarer as opposed a cheap converter? Someone recently had issues with two Alps boards and it turns out it was capacitors, although those werent working at all - keyboards-f2/every-alps-board-i-buy-is- ... 14609.html
