She is intelligent, educated, conscientious, experienced, and predictable.
Otherwise, I told you so. I was wearing my "Bernie" T-shirt today.

I think Trump is a narcissist, a sexist, a misogynist, and in general a buffoon who cannot be trusted. Yet he never killed anyone, let alone laugh about it. He would be very late in his career to start being a killer. Just a buffoon. Clinton is a psychopath wearing whatever mask suits her today, and people are falling for it. She is far more dangerous. Buffoon Trump is transparent. Psychopath Clinton wants Snowden violently killed. Psychopath Clinton is responsible for many thousands of people, real people, killed in the name of "collateral damage", like it's nothing, and probably chuckling and getting a hard one about that much power. How would you like China bombing your ass because they suspect a terrorist is nearby. Pfff collateral damage who cares about those little people, let's get it out of the media. She is the truly scary one, the evil one. A fascist of the 1%.
Vote Johnson.
Vote Johnson.

Given the chance, I am sure Trump will have as much blood on his hands, considering that is the same kind of narcissistic sociopath currently running Russia and Syria.webwit wrote: ↑I think Trump is a narcissist, a sexist, a misogynist, and in general a buffoon who cannot be trusted. Anybody that slings their way to the top of the US government is going to have blood on their hands and be some amorphous blob that says and does whatever they need to do to be in power. Clinton is par for the course in this country. When the Clintons ambitions went national, she basically gave up her former identity to play the nice wife card. Since then, anything goes. I don't respect people that turn into these shape-shifting blobs with ever flexible principles for the pursuit of power and status. Definitely lost a few friends that way.

I dunno man they've had fucking ages to dig up some dirt on Trump, and I've no doubt they're spending a lot of money and time trying to do just that. Even if Trump has blood on his hands in some way, it would surely pale in comparison to the Olympic sized pool of blood that Hillary is floating in.vivalarevolución wrote: ↑ Given the chance, I am sure Trump will have as much blood on his hands

Wikileaks just released info about how Clinton is in bed with Wall Street. Not surprising at all. We already knew some of it.
I think that Trump is incredibly unprepared for the burned of being president. There are some rich psychopaths supporting him too. If Trump would win, he would probably delegate much responsibility to whoever in the Republican party steps up first, and we have no idea who that might be.
The climate is going to get effed up. Clinton is for corporate takeover of the world through TTP and TTIP (and CETA and TISA) where as Trump is against but is very reluctant to do anything to reduce emission of greenhouse gases.

Clinton's ties to the financial sector and the Israel lobby are heinous and unconscionable, but the other option is infinitely worse.

Like I said, given the chance to have power over military actions, he would have blood on his hands, I have very little doubt. His little boy infatuation with the military and sociopathy scares me enough. He was pretty adamant about killing families of terrorists during the primaries (but so were most of the other Republican candidates, which is a reflection of the crazy in that party these days).002 wrote: ↑I dunno man they've had fucking ages to dig up some dirt on Trump, and I've no doubt they're spending a lot of money and time trying to do just that. But Hillary was an awful choice for Secretary of State, and it showed. The glee she gets from some of these killings is incredibly offputting and scary (Bin Laden and Gaddafi). You ever see those photos of all the luminaries of the US government gathered around a TV as they the Navy Seals went in to kill Bin Laden? It was like a video game to them, cheering with excitement when it happened.
The Wikileaks release was pretty tame, I've read the highlights. We all know she is in bed with the corporations and that she will say different things to different audiences (e.g. public/private positions). In fact, she expressed pragmatic views that politicians must have regarding some issues. This whole recent surge towards populist ideals (free university) is simply a ploy to grab the skeptical Bernie voters.Findecanor wrote: ↑Wikileaks just released info about how Clinton is in bed with Wall Street. Trump has shown he is not willing to do the work to be president or be open to advisers, which is why some other very rich people cooled their initial interest in Trump and switched to Clinton. Trump wanted a governor as a vice president because a governor has experience running a governor and he could delegate all the presidential stuff to the vice prez while he ran his reality show from the Oval Office. Unfortunately, he selected Mike Pence, who has done a shitty job running Indiana as governor and did next to nothing while in Congress.

I will admit, though, I admire Trump's sense of independence. I think it is a completely misguided independence that is about himself and he will create more problems than anything. But the way he pisses off the stodgy Republican establishment and has no filter gives me a bit of joy.

It has become too embarrassing to even post to this thread, like kicking a retarded person when he is already on the ground.
But as an 8th+ generation American on both sides of my family, it makes me angry, not embarrassed, that 37% of US voters are still supporting that ludicrous buffoon today.
Nothing less than an overwhelming repudiation of the Republican Party will restore my confidence in the American people as a whole.

I've never been as invested in any election as I am in the 2016 US one. Australia has *nothing* on you guys. It has been so entertaining the whole time. Trump's tweets crack me up and he's just a fucking mad man -- I love it. A meme president would be so much fun.

I was watching vid below the other week and my wife caught a glimpse of it over my shoulder. At 00:45 she starts laughing and points out to me that the last transition says "cunt" (kanto / カント)

Trump is right about the rigged system. It is rigged to only allow people from the two corrupt parties to win. But he only cares if it affects hims, because the system has been this way for decades and he wasn't squawking about it until now.

Pun mostly intended on the "the right" bit.

You are correct, whist Trump is absolutely loaded he is still the outsider when it comes to politics sticking it to the man, he is speaking truth to power, i mean the whole establishment is against him as is the media ( not that the fool does himself an favours).vivalarevolución wrote: ↑Trump is right about the rigged system.
And this is what most of the "he is the second coming of hitler" crowd are missing. Sure Trump has some terrible ideas about stuff like the wall and so on ( many may more bad ideas but aint got the time to list them all). He is popular due to everyone being racist or xenophobic or whatever (sure there will be some of his supporters that are) but beacuse people are fed up with the status quo, they are fed up not being listened to, they are fed up of the political elite saying things like " we are not the problem the people are the problem", they are tired of political correctness , they are tired of all the crap in modern universities with safe spaces and gender studies courses and so on.
This is why there is a rise of the right across the western world at the moment , and its also why the Brexit vote won.
What a shit situation, with the rise of this muppet and other right wing nutters, but then the super far left ( regressive left) are what caused this. I consider myself a Liberian left person but this lot , bloody hell, extremes on ether side are just shit.

I would be curious to read how you explain that assertion, given that nowhere in the "western world" the "super far left" have been in a position to achieve anything in terms of concrete politics.andrewjoy wrote: ↑[…]

Or do you count French president Hollande to the "super far left"?
One remark to your scornful "gender studies courses and so on": if you don't feel the necessity, it's not because there is no necessity, but because there is no necessity to you and those who are not women, do not sit in a wheelchair, and in general do not belong to an ethnic, religious, sexual, linguistic or whatever minority.

I'm sorry I have to say I agree, Trump knows the system and speaks some truth but he himself and his whole "presentation" are not legitimate enough, fair game for the Clintons who have decades of political powerplay experience to cope with a colorful businessman like him. Bernie Sanders or Jeb Bush could have dealt with Hillary on another level, Trump does not have the skill or knowledge. In essence Trump is ruining his own efforts.andrewjoy wrote: ↑You are correct, whist Trump is absolutely loaded he is still the outsider when it comes to politics sticking it to the man, he is speaking truth to power, i mean the whole establishment is against him as is the media...

Trump is not equipped to be on this level. It's like he started biking, running and swimming- then decided without entering any other contests to enter the Iron Man contest.
That's not to say that even if he had he'd be qualified. He is singularly unqualified based on temperament, IMO.

So unless voters start to care about the Clintons' corruption and various other shady dealings, Hillary has a very very good chance of winning this one by a large margin. With a new sexual assault accusser for Trump just about every day now, he has fallen out of favor very quickly. Add to the fact that about 1/3 of voters participate in early voting, have made up their minds, and anything that happens from here on out will not influence their vote. Current odds of a Clinton victory are as good as they've ever been: http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/201 ... id=rrpromo

I did not say he was qualified in any way. At this point I don't think anyone has to worry about him getting that job, he messed it up for himself imensly just in the last couple of months.chuckdee wrote: ↑Isn't that what party support is for?
