OK but that's not a Displaywriter?!? Your quote that I got from that thread is...
The Displaywriter controller has the same connector, but a different pinout for its matrix.

OK, that's why I deleted my post. Still doesn't make any sense to me but I won't quote anyone here if they do not want to be quoted.

BTW, the description says those are Alps SKCM white, but they're not, they're the Omron Alps clones. I didn't even know those came on Monterey keyboards.Hypersphere wrote: ↑Monterey K103

The DT wiki for the K101 says, "The FCC ID for K102 is registered to Keytech, along with K103 (not known) and K104."
It has different arrow key legends from those on the K104.

Have a look at that close-up picture. If you look closely, none of the parts are the same, not even the slider. They all look different.Hypersphere wrote: ↑Shape eye! The most obvious difference is the tabs (there's four), as well as the retaining clips, which are diagonal and they're in a different orientation (along rather than across). The slits are very different as well, they look more like claws overhanging the housing than slits cut out of it. The mould marking is not the same as SKCM, either. The slider even looks like it's missing the characteristic "lip", and it's a more sharply angled shape.
I don't actually own any of these switches, but I know of them.

Probably Alps switches. Likely Green or Yellow, possibly with a Cream space bar. I don't think anyone has documented the "mobile" variant of that keyboard.

The black label Z-150 has dye-sub PBT keycaps without homing keys. I think that the white label version has doubleshot ABS caps with homing bumps. It is difficult to tell from the photo, but it looks as though the keyboard on the Zenith computer doesn't have homing keys.

It's not the exact same computer model but mine is a "ZFA 161 416" and the eBay model is "ZFA-138-42". The outer casing looks similar (there are tabs on the bottom that fit into the case) but only a picture of the back of the keyboard would solve it.

Looks like the bottom one is actually a thick-PBT lasered caps keyboard. Be aware that the bottom row is completely useless on any modern keyboard since the nice 1.25u mods will have off-center stems.
But a very nice way to get the closes thing to Cherry SAU alphanumerics for a fraction of the price.

I think the top one is as well, given that the description just says G81-3000LPNUS/00, which kind of implies both are that model (which has thick lasered caps).
Though the top one is missing two alphas. which makes it less useful as a keycap donor.

A Cherry keyboard with a photo of the label showing "G80-1800 HAD",
which would mean doubleshot keycaps,
but where these have obviously been replaced with lasered ones,
so way too expensive:

Funny little observation about this LE D2 keyboard. The 1U backspace key has been put back on 90 rotated, this means it must have a mount which is (nearly) 90 degree symmetrical. I assume that's Cherry mount then but this could be sliders over rubberdome or real cherry mx or bad, old mx clones.
