Gaaah... $66.98 to the UK for the (Lexmark IBM blue label) NOS Model M...lot_lizard wrote: ↑Add the IBM 82G5920 to the list. Hard to beat these prices for "new" M's... even if they might need some adaptor updates. The model he was excited about (7 total available) is coming yet, but I don't know how many of you will really find a need for it. Neat board though. No idea what they will charge, but looking favorable based on the othersE TwentyNine wrote: ↑Unicomp has added ISO M's to their liquidation section, $50.40 each + free ship in US:
IBM Latin American Layout
Lexmark branded French Canadian
So that would be $117 with the discount. Worth it? I'm a bit tempted...

The switches look quite a lot like a type of Soviet magnetic reed switch I saw a long time ago.XMIT wrote: ↑I saw this beautiful board earlier and don't think it is Hall effect. You would need at least three connections per switch for that and this board only has two.Scarpia wrote: ↑Clicky russian (USSR) Hall Effect keyboard at a decent price:

Did you see the Numpad area where all of the caps are worn smooth with little to no legends seen?Chyros wrote: ↑The switches look quite a lot like a type of Soviet magnetic reed switch I saw a long time ago.XMIT wrote: ↑I saw this beautiful board earlier and don't think it is Hall effect. No wonder it's dirt cheap considering it's age and condition .

Who knows how cheap it will stay, but the dirt, random scuffs, and cut cable might keep it within reason.

The keyboard itself is a worn-out black G81-3000 for visually impaired persons,
and repairing it would certainly be very easy with a spare stabiliser,
but who would want to buy from someone who posts such a photo?

Yes, a typical 4th gen 101 key with some sort of added cover plate that covers the nav cluster and lock led's. Also several custom legend keys. I am keeping an eye on this one. Weird and interesting

BTC 5100C on Swedish auction site Tradera: http://www.tradera.com/item/340827/2698 ... style-ps-2
Apparently the 5100C is a rubber dome, conductive rubber on PCB? Also known as the SIIG MiniTouch Plus according to the Wiki.

Anyone fancy a boxed DC-2014?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-leading ... 2518.l4276
It's not "NIB" as it was clearly used, but it's always nice to have the original box with a desirable keyboard. Nothing stopping this thing from being converted and fully functional on modern systems, even if it isn't off the bat.

I think the printing position for those keyboard is not determine by the layout. The first one is Russian cyrillic, the russian uses the bulgarian cyrilic alphabet with some different symbols from the original . Like 'ё', 'э', 'ы', you may see them on first photo. The second photo is a strange for me. The keyboard have a typical bulgarian alphabet ('я', 'ю', 'ч', 'ь'), but there is a few russian symbols. I've seen that layout on a old military telegraphs.ohaimark wrote: ↑Bizarre that they produced ANSI and ISO Cyrillic layouts with completely different printing positions!

Not a new find, but the much talked about IBM 4704 compatible vintage Alps SKCC 'pingmaster' boards of the Chinese variety that have been on sale for ages from a place in Ohio had their price reduced a bit, now at $22.01. Those in the USA can get one to their door for as little as $30.04 total.
http://meci.com/nib-ibm-chinese-letteri ... 13442.html
Add another $30-50 for a converter to get the thing working and you got a pretty decent brand new board for a pretty reasonable price. Get em before they're gone!
