Yes and yes. It's a magnificent board, I'd love to own one .Menuhin wrote: ↑Is it really a Cherry board?
What kind of switch does it have?
Also, is the owner of this channel on DT or GH?

Hi guys, I've found these little gems: a couple of cherry keyboards (one of them NIB). However, I'm not so sure about the switches. They definitely look like MX whites, but I'm not so sure. As for the keyboards themselves, I was not able to spot them. Any help?

Cherry MY. some of the shittiest switches known to man. Those would be g81-3xxx boards, and those particular ones have lasered thin PBT caps.

haha the caps are pretty nice, thats what most g81s are harvested for. Great caps to put on another board. Dont pass up any g81s just because the switches suck! some older models can come with thick ABS doubleshots, and some can come with the legendary Thick PBT Cherry dyesub caps.

Does anyone recognize the module used in this Accuspell Plus? It looks remarkably similar to a Silver-Reed typewriter module I reviewed recently (https://youtu.be/6gIie9Z9vno?t=10m36s), and if it uses a similar spring-over-dome-that-isn't-Peerless mechanism, I may be intensely interested. Same spacing on all keys (when compared to the original caps on the Silver-Reed), same reverse-L Enter, same bottom row.

How come you don't post your video reviews here at DT atrere?

I subscribed to atrere's channel some time ago, and have watched most of his videos.
Good voice and nice in-depth keyboard switch reviews, but I remember the tea-drinking pinkies most.
Looking forward to seeing more videos from you, perhaps with a voice impersonation of also the Batman?

TheBlueFox, I don't have much hope for that box - I can't see a single thing that looks mechanical, or even like a fun rubber dome. Sorry =<
Seebart, Chyros, and Menuhin - I haven't posted my videos on here because I figured this place was a bit too classy for my off-the-cuff, William Shatner-cadence ramblings, heh. I do appreciate the comparison to Patrick Bateman, though - I loved that movie. Buuuut- I'm thinking of maybe writing up some scripts to better organize my thoughts, and I've dug out a better camera from my closet, so you can expect a few new videos soon, which I'll post on here Also, thank you!

Hi there !
Here's a tough one for you switchheads. I came across this one while browsing through french classifieds ads website LeBonCoin. I have no clue what that is, but it sure looks old.
Here's the ad if anyone's interested.

Agreed on both counts. Though Montereys tend to not have winkey blockers. The arrow keys legends are definitely Monterey esque, but I've also seen that on some NTCs.Chyros wrote: ↑Looks vaguely Monterey, but I haven't seen that model before Oo .
I've never seen that board before though. Its design is a bit charming, to be honest.

I don't think it's Monterey, as the psuedo grill runs the length of the top housing. The rest of the font/symbology is totally different too.
Buy it and get us more photos -- it's a nice looking 'board.

I'm sure I saw one of these, I think it might even have been in the DTA awards, but I can't find it back. Does anyone remember what this was and what it came with? Looks really cool, REALLY expensive though.

I have one of these keyboards but have not taken pics because Haata has one and has pics here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/triplehaa ... 325648986/ . Just noticed it's also in the link posted by Daniel Beardsmore above. EDIT: Chyros, you might consider this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262754371474 If I didn't have one already, I would have bought this one.
