I actually have some of those around, I bought them from the same seller about a year ago. I can add them to the wiki, when I finally get to take photos of them.
They are slighty tactile, like Cherry MX browns, and much heavier than the normal clear version. The mount seems to be kinda useless, nothing I have around as a keycap fits on there. You can put a normal MX keycap on it, but it sits off-center and is super wobbly because of the mount being so shallow.

If it weren''t overpriced, I'd wonder if '6511' is a reference to the Acer 6511 dome-over-slider boards, which have ALPS-compatible caps. I could see paying $1 for the novelty cap, but that's abut it.

Many forum websites have a limit of 500 pages of any one thread. Does that apply to DT?

No problem for me with endless discussions, but TL;DR for anyone who is new and doesn't have dozens of hours to start at the beginning.

So I just won a Focus FK-5001 for $10.50 lol. I had no intention of buying this when I put it on my watch list, but I got a reminder today and thought to myself - why is no one bidding? I was actually hoping someone would bid so that I would have an excuse to just move on, but nope...my hand was forced by the low price! It's such a beautiful keyboard, with so many keys, white alps, and the calculator with a lock switch. Hope it still works.
I think it's in decent condition, but I have no idea how yellow it might be due to the absolutely terrible lighting and quality of the photos.

$10! It's just the shipping for most keyboard purchase.
Should be Zenith's later keyboard?

Indeed, the shipping to Canada always sucks - but at least this seller is subscribed to the global shipping program, which brought that cost down to $30, when it would have likely been $50-60 with the USPS Priority International that a lot of sellers like to pick.
So $40 bucks all in is still a good deal for this board in my books

That's quite overpriced regardless of the "Amazing Condition". Of all the Beamsprings the 5251 is the least rare IMO, we had quite a few pop up last year in Germany for some reason. z3ta's Displaywriter is much cheaper and at least as nice! I sold one to hypkx for much less but it was in less that great shape before hypkx did his magic:

What's a reasonable price on one of those? eBay always seems to have absurd prices on beam springs. My dream is to find a https://c.mobilegeeks.de/wp-content/upl ... 00x627.jpg Series/1 beam spring, but it'd be great to find an affordable 3278 or 5251.seebart wrote: ↑That's quite overpriced regardless of the "Amazing Condition". Impressive XMIT, GLWS!atrere wrote: ↑If a series 1 Beamspring ever shows up that will be quite expensive since those are really rare, I've never seen one for sale. For a 5251 in good condition I'd say 180-230. Remember that a Beamspring may look great from the outside and be totally rusty and rotten on the inside, I've seen cases like that. Any Beamspring has a lot more internal assembly than your average AT/XT keyboard, fixing one up is serious work. That's why z3ta's impressed me, it looks really clean on the inside too, at least from what I can see.seebart wrote: ↑What's a reasonable price on one of those? eBay always seems to have absurd prices on beam springs. They had one of these in the computer room in my college! It felt like crap to type on (half of the mechanism was missing, so it didn't really move much), but the caps were absolutely marvellous. I have some tripleshot J/4 caps from a board like that sitting in storage, if anyone wants one I'm more than happy to share them the next time I go back to visit.
