Another note:
I've put those on a Filco TKL, and it turns out that the guide posts that are used on the larger keys (no idea what they're called, the small plastic thingies to the left and right of the actual switch that help guide the wider keys by sliding in a metal bracket) are too small for the R6 keys, they'd just fall out again when the keys were turned around. That of course is not helpful.
I've found that two layers of saran wrap, put over the hole in the key before putting in the guide posts is
a) flexible enough to wrap around the post when it's pressed in without tearing
b) provides enough friction to allow the guide posts to provide their function again
c) allows them to be removed again later

You wrote this back on Jan 3rd. Is there a reason 0545 still isn't shipped? I didn't see it listed under the orders shipped on your Jan 17th update.

From the round 7 discussion it seems that we'll not likely to see our Round 6 Phase 2 until well into 2018. What are our options on requesting refunds? Or at the very least having 7bit provide what his plan is in addressing the situation his business practices have resulted in?

Doesn't look good. See Round 7 thread, I asked some questions in there.Honthro wrote: ↑From the round 7 discussion it seems that we'll not likely to see our Round 6 Phase 2 until well into 2018. Unfortunately I don't think 7bit has the ability to refund money since it is held by collectors ... but who keep the money collected via Google Wallet?

I have been collecting GW payments since August of last year.I can't speak for the other GW collectors who came before me but all I have collected is properly accounted for and ready to be paid to SP.

I'm not sure how these things work with SP, but here's a thought. Since there is no production slot yet for phase 2, the order can still be changed somewhat, no? Like increasing the amount of keys? Would it not then be possible to convince at least a sizeable portion of the R7 buyers to join R6 phase 2 instead of getting refunds? If R7 falls through, I think a lot of people would be willing to settle for Honeywell themed keycaps instead of no keycaps at all.

Melissa will send all killers she can hire from the money they already have to eliminate me, should I ever touch the orderlist again!
The last time I've changed it was somewhere in August or so. And back then, she told me they already had the paperwork ready for production of phase 2.
They have a number for each legend tool and have snippets of paper that contains the gropup buy name, color, size and quantity to be produced plus that legend tool number. I'm quite sure, Melissa would axe phase 2 should I ever change anything. I asked if they can start with 3 of the 4 colors but this also seems not possible. They want the full amount and then start, once all other orders have been produced, even though they can't produce 2 different colors parallel on the same tools, so the production would be sequenced anyway. All I hope for is that at least she will reserve me a production spot based on the money they already have.

The Honeywell set is legendary. It has to be made or we will regret it the rest of our lives
If everyone wanting it could chip in on getting some instock-items it will help. 7bit will list some things soonish if I understand it correctly from the 7 thread.

Ok, but why is there a problem with "opening up" a small portion of phase 2 just to add more of the already set items? Do SP really need to know exactly how many of each there will be? What about massdrop, they never know hpw many they will get, just look at the Dasher it was crazy.
Im sure there are alot of people that would want a tkl-set so SP really makes it hard to raise money if we cannot even buy more of the most popular sets???
Will Melissay get axe-ready if you were to tell her that "sorry but intead of 50 TKL-sets there will be 70 im so sorry?"

Yeah, I think the option is at least worth exploring – realisticly, the worst thing that can happen is SP saying no. I doubt they'd cancel the whole order out of spite just because of a question.
It would'nt even have to be that complicated. Something simple like a standard ANSI kit in the classic Honeywell colours (we might even call it 'ALGOL/KIT/ERSATZ' when we're at it) would probably be something that interests a majority of R7 buyers. And given that MOQ is already reached on all those sets, all additional keys would come at a quite reasonable pricepoint. Ideally, the ERSATZ kit could be sold at a price point where R7 buyers get their money's worth while still providing enough margin to cover some of the R6 phase 2 deficit, thus bringing the whole GB closer to completion. Plus R6 leftovers will sell better with more base kit buyers.
EDIT: Also, some enthusiast stores might be willing to pitch in and buy a few sets for reselling (like XMIT offered to do a while back).

does anybody who already got their keycaps from this round have some spare mods?
ANy color... just not blank ones.
I'm looking for any caps apart of alphas.

I've added a lot of useless keys to the wiki:
wiki/R6_leftovers
I've added some function keys in blue, modifiers in 1.25 and 1.5 units in black on blue (CADET) and a lot of blanks in blue and violett.

Here are the exact figures:
Key caps in stock for sale: $19,000
Round 6 phase 2 for sale: $15,000
Amount needed to pay for production: $9,000
after $18,000 had been refunded for Round 7: $27,000
This is not really bad.

What I understood...
There is $9,000 outstanding to pay to Signature Plastics, assuming that Round 7 payments can subsidize Round 6 Phase 2.
But Round 7 is cancelled and the funds will be refunded.
So in order for Round 6 Phase 2 to be produced, it is necessary to sell $27,000 worth of:
* Round 4 leftovers + Round 5 leftovers + Round 6 Phase 1 leftovers = $19,000 in stock
* Round 6 Phase 2 unsold kits = $15,000
This means that Round 6 Phase 2 is now on hold indefinitely until an extra $27,000 can be raised.
