Well, the switches are universally disliked and indeed you can't use it with a modern computer, so it's basically decoration. So it's up to you how much you think it's worth, really. Does look really cool though .

I'm on that one kbdfr, and I guarantee you it will go higher than $15, of course that's the whole setup.

any thoughts on what a NovaTouch should be worth? I have a used ISO that I use regularly (but still in great condition) ato work - so that is one I am likely to keep, but I picked up a new ANSI (thinking I might want a second one to use at home) and I haven't even opened the shipping box. So if I sell the ANSI, any ideas on value? does £140 sound about right? (again, this is brand new - shipping box as well as actual retail box are both unopened!) thx

How much would one of these cost in ISO-UK? The caps are not in good shape, but the switches feel great. The yellowing is as bad as this one. I tried to retrobright the caps with minor success.

Very good point Wodan, there were no G81-3000 in 1984 anyway. I own a G81-1000HBD from 1988 though.

Wodan and quite a few others can tell you what those nice Cherry doubleshots are worth, I'm not so much "into" G80's. Nayrcj's old Cherry is much harder to value!

Taobao prices don't really count. The low price comes with the territory. Besides, the Taobao ones could be in any condition, whereas yours were all pretty good.alienman82 wrote: ↑They're for sale on TaoBao for around what I was selling them for, I did not destroy your market, I simply was being fair.

I know you got all those dye sub sets for freaking cheap, and you're trying to sell for way too much imo.
I'd call fair a bit of an understatement. I never said it was "my market". The price I was selling it for has been the market price for years, almost without fail. If you think it's too much that's fine. If you want to sell your things for a very low price that's also fine; I can't argue with that. However, I'm understandably pissed nevertheless

I would say the DT price for SAD caps should be 40-60€ depending on condition. Since Cherry PBT can be restored to almost better-than-NIB condition by sandblasting them, I am not worried about their condition too much when getting them.subcat wrote: ↑Speaking of Dyesubs, how much would a set of SAD be?
Ebay/MM prices for SAD should be 50-100€

That price and payment via PayPal made it an instant buy. I currently have tons of € on my PP and am forced to pay all US$ purchases from that balance at PPs horrible exchange rate so my € spending is pretty violent.subcat wrote: ↑ Thanks That Highscreen case is super nice! Little less than half a year ago I bought 2 keyboards from Marktplaats (Dutch eBay), namely the Mitac KB-5201 (Chicony rebrand) and the Datacomp DFK191.
The Mitac has Monterey Blue switches and the Datacomp has SKCM White switches.

(if you want better pictures tell me, I have a better camera now)
I was planning to desolder the Datacomp board to make an alps64 custom keyboard, but I'm not sure if I would be better off selling the board for other switches or not.
If you want more info just ask. I will try to answer in the best way possible...

Very hard to say. Probably more if you ANSI-modded it when you had it apart.taylorswiftttttt wrote: ↑How much is a clean, bolt-modded IBM Model M 122 worth
