Very nice!
Round 5/Round 6 keycaps look simply divine no matter what keyboard they are installed on.
It's worth noting that these Round 6 (phase 1) keycaps are the first brand new SA keycaps I've ever received through a group buy. In the year and a half that I've been into this, no other SA group buy has appealed to me enough to get in on it. In that time I've passed on Carbon, Danger Zone, Troubled Minds, Jukebox, Amazing Chocolatier, Godspeed, Nantucket Selectric, 1965, and probably a number of others I'm failing to remember.
I acquired previously-owned PuLsE and Round 4 SPH sets back in Fall 2015 just to hold me over until Round 6 got produced. They have served me well, but I am thrilled to finally get my hands on these Round 6 caps.

I know you're joking, but honestly I think if there were any custom full Topre or BS sets, a lot of people would probably jump on even just for the novelty of actually having a secondhand set for them, let alone if people start producing pretty colorways. The future of Topre keysets I think lies in sliders, unfortunately, though they may admittedly be the best option. Still waiting for a good stab solution and a real 'killer app' keyset before I go through with anything like that. I just got my Realforce the other day and the caps are amazing, albeit I did swap the space bar.Muirium wrote: ↑Yeah. MX mount is so passé. When are we getting Topre and buckling spring? (I'd add beamspring, but their stock caps are what SA is trying to impersonate in the first place.)

Thanks! It was supremely frustrating to have to have painted it myself though. And installing silencing rings is a royal PITA too. I would have preferred that the plastic itself be white, and the switches factory silenced. But at least I now have the keyboard I always wanted!

Yeah, I hear you on the silencing rings. At least those were easier to install than the dental bands I initially tried (they suck, they remove most of the tactility by travel reduction). Never tried to paint anything though, mostly for the fear of screwing things up...

I practiced on a crappy HP membrane keyboard that I borrowed from work first, to make sure painting would work out. That HP case took the paint better though, and I was able to get it really bright white. So even though the RF RGB case didn't come out quite as bright (and clean), it is still infinitely better than its original black.Khers wrote: ↑Never tried to paint anything though, mostly for the fear of screwing things up...

Lol I just ordered some weeks ago and already got the keys, even before the keyboard I ordered before that have come hehe. But to be fair I didn't get a full set so there will be an unorthodox mix but I believe all rows are right, so this is the price I have to pay - not getting all keys. I'm very happy tho since it get me a working board until the Dasher comes.
Keys looks amazing on their own tho. Im very happy I got them and had a chance to contribute more towards my endgame office board which is the honeywell.

Yep! Everything is R6a except the 2.25 spacebars--those are blanks from SP. I'll be getting some legit R6 spaces pretty soon though.
