Anyone need a portable model F? It's $80 BIN, not sure if that's a good price or not...guess it depends on how usable this is on other computers.

Only thing I could find regarding the FCC ID: HEU 292 was that it uses some kind of alps clone switch - "KPT-like" switch is what the wiki brings up.

Darn, was hoping that one would stay low key...who am I kidding though, the shipping they selected is already $50 to Canada...probably wasn't going to bid.
*Edit - It's a Podworld keyboard, should be a bit more information on that in some previous threads. Seems to be a variety of switch base/slider colors.

You're in the US! Win the bid and tell us what it's like! It's NIB and the serial number looks super low man, you may never find another like it

I don't think it will stay at that price, even not working and incomplete. Vintage computer collectors are a little more aggressive. As an extreme example, how about a two floppy unit that may or may not work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/122383386508y11971alex wrote: ↑http://www.ebay.com/itm/292047496249 $500 only!

This particular one has certainly seen better days. I wonder how a keyboard can get that dirty? Looks like it has been splattered with mud. (Although I've seen worse on eBay and elsewhere).

There's another salmon alps AT101 already bid up to ~135 shipped, so I think this is a fair price.

They're very nice boards, the best type of AT101s. I've had bad luck with them; one was completely broken, and the one I have now has scratchy switches :/ .

1200? I can't stand people that drive up the prices of keyboards to ridiculous levels, and those that store multiple of the same rare keyboards for no reason. This community sure is flawed.//gainsborough wrote: ↑A reddit user is selling an unsaver on mechmarket:

YOU have an Alps-switch board that has scratchy switches?!Chyros wrote: ↑They're very nice boards, the best type of AT101s. I've had bad luck with them; one was completely broken, and the one I have now has scratchy switches :/ .
Now I don't feel so bad. I had thought that all your Alps-switch boards were in perfect condition and that my house was where all the dilapidated Alps boards went to die, sort of like the Elephants' graveyard.
Seriously, though, when you say "the best of AT101a" are you referring just to the Dell Old Logo AT-101s? Within that group, I see that the DT wiki lists two variants:
FCC ID GYI3PVAT101.
Made in USA by Alps. Alps SKCM Salmon switches. Keycaps are printed in a slightly blue ink.
FCC ID GYIAT101-102
Made in USA or Ireland. Alps SKCM Salmon switches.
Between these two, do you favor the one with the "slightly blue ink"?

And I got grumpy with less than half what Cindy charged me for mine.price: 1200€ You might think this overpriced!? Then make me an offer
I got offered 600€. 2 more days
Also reminds me of a few users that try to sell their NIB SSK's for $$$ from Cindy's haul.
