Does installing the beam spring controller require desoldering and soldering or does it have a slip-on connector?
What about the Model F controller? Will it be available? Which revision?

if we get 8 plus interests on the F controller, rev 4 would be available. The beamspring is a slip on connector similar to our MF project. Wodan would know more about the level of F controller interest there has been so far.Hypersphere wrote: ↑Does installing the beam spring controller require desoldering and soldering or does it have a slip-on connector?

Where do we indicate our interest in a Rev. 4 F controller? Is there a poll, or should we PM Wodan?

I suspect we would have the interest for it, but we need to know how much interest there actually is, and if orihalcon actually has enough on hand to satisfy that demand (I hope he does... I'm tried of ordering stuff ).
The poll idea is a good one. Wodan, maybe kill the current and pop up a new one for this? Or even better, we have a new/augmented order form and just proceed assuming we have the 8+ orihalcon would want?!? Your call.
I do need these quantities known within 2 weeks. If orihalcon doesn't have enough (doubtful), we would want to order these with the beamspring and MF ones. I am saving controllers till the end because they turn around fast, and I still need to test this new MF one with our new PCBs

Okay added the Model F Controller to the form.
Please RE-SUBMIT a new form with the same user name if you want to make changes. I will delete all but the latest entry for each user name.
I put in 18$ as the circa price for the Model F controller, took that from the MF order sheet. Please correct me if I'm wrong lot_lizard.
Google forms is so awesome, you can just add field to a form and keep all results, even hand made changes to the results sheet ...

I have solenoid drivers and original Xwhatsit controllers if anyone is interested. If someone is planning on buying 10 or more and wants to distribute the Xwhatsit controllers, I can do $25 each on a quantity of 10 or more. Solenoid drivers would be $20 each for a quantity of 10 or more in the same way. What I had been doing is $25 each shipped if purchased individually. I also have the 3178 adapter boards (adapts a Model F xwhatsit to the 3178) for $5 each plus $3 flat shipping no matter how many you buy. PM me if interested.

If you have an MF order, you can add these to your MF order and don't need to order here. They will come from the same source but logistics will be handled differently.

Sorry for the lack of updates but for the time being there's no update yet.
The big controller production run is waiting for input from the DMA project but this will hopefully come to a conclusion soon.
Anyone feeling uncomfortable with this let me know and I'll refund you, the money is still sitting with me.

Actually, is it possible for me to put my money in as a late entry? Or if anyone wants to back out, I am happy to buy your order from you.

This really all is my fault. We have negotiated something with our supplier where we produce all of these at once (legacy F, beamspring, solenoid driver, and the MF). It is one of the reasons all of this was so cheap out of the gate. I am just really geeking out about what DMA is putting together, and held up everything. Wodan deserves no blame here. Blame me, and wanting to see something great work. We will hold a vote shortly in the MF GB thread about how to proceed for that controller, and then proceed

I looked through my PayPal history, and the invoice appears to have been canceled... I must have missed it showing up somehow, and forgot about the whole enterprise until recently. If there's any way to get back in, that would be fantastic.

We're clearly looking for the best possible product here at a breakneck price so I hope all participants have the patience required.
Anyone who wants out, let me know, that really isn't a problem until production has been paid for.
Anyone who wants in ... meeeeh I will be opening the order form again for a few days soon.
