Huntsmans and daddy longlegs are basically all I see at my place (inside anyway). There are Golden orb-weavers outside...nothing like copping a face full of spider whilst mowing the lawn.

We're posting animal photos now? Here's my favorite. I always had troubling pinning down Wabash's political leanings, but I pegged him as a Libertarian, mostly.

I've always liked tiny creatures:

And bees.

Oh yeah -- definitely seen bigger!webwit wrote: ↑That's surely only a fruit fly in Australian standards.
Recent example was when cleaning up some palm fronds in the yard, they like to hide in the curled up ends. As I picked up the frond to mulch it, it ran out and up my arm and across my shoulder. It felt like it had a leg span the size of a dinner plate -- certainly raised hairs. I don't mind spiders really but I prefer not to have them on me that's for sure

I don’t understand what you are trying to say, webwit.webwit wrote: ↑you nasty retard
Could you please define your terms (“nasty” and “retard”), and then provide some kind of argument or documentary evidence that they are apposite to the discussion?
To be generous, I can only assume that now that Hillary Clinton is out of the picture, your unrequited love for her is doomed, and your resulting blue balls and deep sadness have made life itself a struggle, to the point you are just stringing together random words without comprehension.

Apparently Republican lawmakers in North Carolina are outraged about a children’s picture book wherein a little boy likes to wear a dress.

You're a retard for persisting in posting your daily diary here of your favorite partisan click bait news sources, like this is a community of people who are not on the Internet and don't read news and need your daily updates. You're nasty because you do it on a mechanical keyboard forum were people are not interested in your continued news link posting about your fucking president, clearly not respecting this community, giving not a single fuck about this community. You're again a retard for not taking your crap to a relevant political forum instead. Or why not take it to the My Little Pony forum. It's just as stupid and retarded.

Ah yes, the “partisan click bait” Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNN, PBS, BBC, Guardian, Wired, Ars Technica, Businessweek, Forbes, New Yorker, Atlantic, Economist, ....
Look, if you don’t want to have an off-topic discussion, get rid of the off-topic section of the site, or ban US politics as a subject for discussion.
Or if you personally have gotten tired now that your previous “argument” (paraphrased, “Clinton and Obama are evil warmongers, but Trump is a delicate fairy queen”) has proved to be total horseshit, with the US military stepping up its bombing campaigns in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc., then you have an easy way out: admit you were horribly wrong before, and then ignore future comments in the thread here.
Or you could just vomit up sad toddler-level insults. I’m sure that will make everyone agree with you.

It's less of a discussion than your tired, worn out old blog. You are essentially talking to yourself in public. If you are truly looking for discussion, then you need to take this subject to somewhere where people are anxious to discuss it. Once you've reached the multiple posting stage, it really is time to call it a day.jacobolus wrote: ↑Look, if you don’t want to have an off-topic discussion …

We did stop replying, but the retard returned. FFS. How nice for you that your favorite media manages to outrage you just like Fox manages for another demography. But why take your news links here of all places? The mind boggles.

Is this a joke? The Washington Post is one of the world’s foremost daily newspapers, one of the top two daily newspapers in the USA, which has won numerous awards and accolades over its 140-year history, including dozens of Pulitzer prizes.adhoc wrote: ↑Are you unironically posting washingtonpost links as news source? The WP is owned by Jeff Bezos, the 3rd richest person in the world, who doesn't give a single fuck about you, and is an enemy of Trump for business reasons. Grow up, retard.

The Washington Post may have liberal bias, but the majority of their reporting is reputable. So long as one can extract the bullshit from the good stuff, their exclusives can be useful. Same goes for Fox, CNN, etc.

The entirety of the US news media is an “enemy of Trump for business reasons”. The primary of those business reasons: Trump has placed himself in direct opposition to American democracy and to the interests of the people of the world, and readers want to know about it.
Unfortunately for the Washington Post and Jeff Bezos, now that detective webwit is on the scene, they’ll never be able to keep their evil ownership scheme secret.

The Washington Post is a “circle jerk for retards”? Okay then. Adhoc: since webwit apparently doesn’t know what the word “retard” means, perhaps you can enlighten us with your definition?
My dictionary says “a mentally handicapped person”. Can you list the mental handicaps you think all (or most?) Washington Post readers are supposed to have, which are different from the general population of humans?
My working assumption is that subscribers and readers of the Washington Post are on average better educated, more erudite, and more highly intellectually skilled than humans in general. So I’m guessing your definition of “retard” is something different than the dictionary definition. Maybe “people who disagree with me, and therefore deserve to be abusively insulted”?
I’ll also define “circlejerk” for you: news venue where people interested in US national politics and local affairs in the vicinity of Washington DC read news articles relevant to those topics written by world-class journalists, along with a varied collection of opinion pieces from across the ideological spectrum.

Keep not replying. And not visiting. It's one thread. Does one thread bother you that much? You can't dictate how he's going to act. But you can dictate how you're going to act. Of course I have the high ground. I didn't vote the fascist Trump, nor the fascist Clinton. I don't get brainwashed by Fox, nor by the fucking WP. I don't post my daily political diary on a mechanical keyboard forum, like a retard.

No wonder you desire so much government, if you can't even use a dictionary.jacobolus wrote: ↑The Washington Post is a “circle jerk for retards”? Okay then. Adhoc: since webwit apparently doesn’t know what the word “retard” means, perhaps you can enlighten us with your definition?

Clearly, you don't understand how statistics work. But I wouldn't expect it from a WP reader anyway.jacobolus wrote: ↑ My working assumption is that subscribers and readers of the Washington Post are on average better educated, more erudite, and more highly intellectually skilled than humans in general.

I have this feeling adhoc is not a fan of the WP
What's not to like about Jeff Bezos. I respect him, as a business man, I guess. Having the insight about Amazon to turn those endless losses into endless wins, enlarging and transforming the business into cloud hosting and such. But in the end a sociopath turd who created a sociopath company where the ordinary worker gets fired for taking the day off to attend a funeral or a chick child, or simply by not performing to the relentless work schedule standards. He likes his workers with as less rights as possible, to maximize his profit for his cunt of a company, and created a top-down sociopath structure for that. Clearly a friend of the people. Not at all of the cheapest labor for his own win, such as for becoming one of the richest men of the world.

Chill out guys, you have to distinguish between you want to piss some one off or you want to wake him up by pissing him off. However,no need to get personal, some topics are just for the sake of discussion. Let's enjoy ourselves until the day Trump presses the button of Nuke just because he feels bored.I hope everybody ends up happy...C'mmon guys, do you really need me the infamous Mr. Nobody to intermediate?

Can you explain these in detail for poor little retarded me?adhoc wrote: ↑you can't even use a dictionary. [...] Clearly, you don't understand how statistics work.
I’m assuming you have a statistics Ph.D or something? The furthest I ever got was a couple of undergraduate statistics courses for math majors, and grad-level econometrics. Plus a bunch of time later writing numerical analysis code.
Maybe link us to your dissertation.
