Yeah, Reese is one of the most ill tasting things I've ever found in the sweets department, while raw meat is really rather lovely!adhoc wrote: ↑I once had the chance to try Reese and it's the most vomit inducing thing I have ever put in my mouth. I was literally disgusted by it.
On topic, why is noone eating raw meat?

Eating raw meat in North America isn't really a thing. If you ask for raw meat from most restaurants they won't sell it, and most people will look at your weirdly :pKhers wrote: ↑adhoc wrote: ↑I once had the chance to try Reese and it's the most vomit inducing thing I have ever put in my mouth. Go figure... I'm not used to raw meat, and you guys aren't used to reese.
Edit:
I should probably pick some of that up later to try. Stupidstore, here I come :pHarshmallow wrote: ↑ Fucking Canadians know their junk food my man. Mon chocolat pis ma BEURRE DE PEANUT! I buy the President's Choice peanut butter chocolate ice cream religiously - it's like a way of life now.

Salmonella? MRSA?adhoc wrote: ↑On topic, why is noone eating raw meat?
Livestock carrying antibiotic-resistant bacteria is now more a norm than an exception.

I really miss Reese, I need to have peanut butter in my life.micrex22 wrote: ↑ ... ate a pound of reese:

Whenever someone came back from a trip in the North America and brought some Reeve cups I would go crazy!
But I only ate those small original sized cups, I can't imagine how does it feel like to eat a half-pound Reeve cup and eat two of them in a roll...

Some food porn from my side, a soup with the water from smoked pork meat (or in German just 'Geselchtes'):

Tortillas for fun.
No idea what to call this, I call it Essigfleisch. Cooked beef with onions and eggs, lots of vinegar and pumpkin seed oil.
From easter. This is pretty traditional easter meal. Missing "potica", a Slovenian dessert, because I'm not a fan. Smoked and cooked ham, hard boiled eggs usually coloured with stickers, grated horseradish, milk bread.

I suppose this is the food picture thread for just posting pictures, not explaining how to make it. Anybody here ever try kimchee gigae (kimchee stew - no meat), shigumchee (spinach with sesame oil), koongnamel (sprouts with sesame oil) and chicken breast with gochujung (hot bean paste)? There's stir fried rice with broccoli and mushrooms there too.
It's pretty good - especially with a nice bottle of red wine.
Home made, but I don't feel like describing how to make it. It takes hours to make. (probably longer to explain)

So this stuff was on sale and I decided to get some (un?)fortunately I'm over six feet tall so I'm not in the full reflection hahaha: Popped it open: There were definitely some chunky pbutter cups: Unfortunately... I wouldn't buy it again--and that's because the actual ice cream itself just wasn't up to my standard (it's a cheaper ice cream and has that slight "scummy" texture and isn't just pure cream & egg). I've had the Haagen Dazs chocolate peanut butter (which has some salt in there, too) and it honestly tastes miles better / you should try to find that stuff and see if you like it better as well.Harshmallow wrote: ↑ Fucking Canadians know their junk food my man. It was good for sure, but once you get accustomed to the higher-end ice creams, it's just too hard to go back.
