super clean looking fk-2001
If anyone is interested in it for the possibility of blue alps - don't expect to find them in this. I have an even lower serial number, older model that still comes with White Alps. As far as I can tell, the board needs to have the AT/XT switch on the narrow top panel of the keyboard AND an extra sticker under the bottom right foot with dip switches to switch Caps Lock and Ctrl being under that flip-out foot - essentially a second dip switch block. And the blue alps models likely also don't have a serial number on their label at all, like Seebart's FK-2002 in the wiki.

The seller also adds this description to their listing:
Focus FK-2001 is a family of Alps SKCL/SKCM series and Alps clone keyboards from Focus Electronic for IBM PCs and compatibles. The original FK-2001 keyboard was XT/AT switchable, and used Alps SKCM Blue switches.

Note, they don't state that THEIR board comes with those switches, they don't actually indicate which switches their board has at all, nor do they show a picture.

*It does look like a very clean board however, and a great example of the FK-2001 :)

Well the third picture clearly shows white alps.

Pine white Alps, nice. And the board looks absolutely spotless. This is what I'd recommend to someone who would want to try out a proper Alps experience :) .

See, that detachable dust cover might seem strange and useless, but you'll find that because of it, 2001s tend to turn up cleaner on average than other boards :D .

Gonna guess green alps on this ZKB-2. How'd I do, Chyros?
Yes, I'd say green as well. Again, if someone gets it, let me know if I was right or wrong, please.
<snip>
I got this one. Just now unpacked it and set it up. Typing on it now, complete with the built-in "chirp" (which toggles with Alt-Backtick). Yes, SKCL green Alps. Doubleshot ABS caps. The board is in great shape. The keycaps are yellowed, but the case is practically white -- unusual for old Zenith boards.

My previous Zenith purchase was a Z-150 that arrived with the case and some keys smashed and in pieces -- the only part salvageable from the top case was the black label badge, which I intend to put on the ZB-2. The innards and the metal bottom are okay, so now I am looking for a top case, preferably with the black label intact.

Nice! The only green alps board I have is a z-150 that I bought from luigi - but I still can't get it to work =( It makes me sad because I love typing on it.

Who got the Focus FK-727? I was hoping to wait it out for a little while and make an offer later. Need to get one of these for my Focus collection. One day!

That's the board I have, but with the normal black zenith badge. The problem is that one would also be a weird XT protocol, right?

fujitsu leaf spring, maybe? Not sure, but it looks neat!

I was thinking of making an offer in that range too. Just bought a couple high end Alps boards, both pretty costly. Couldn't do it! The 727 looks pretty decent, those switches might actually feel okay. If not, at least you've got a nice minty cable :D

It is FLS. That model has sprung up a few times recently. You can also tell by the pinout.

Kind of not worth I guess considering the pingmasters are still available, but IMO this is way more aesthetic. Should be green SKCC alps

I've never seen the Heathkit model HTX-10 here before that I can remember but that does not mean it's not possible to "teensy".

Isn't pretty much any semi-conventional keyboard possible to teensy, provided you have the patience/time to trace the PCB and stuff? Not sure how it gets when it comes to non-contact switches, but I thought I remembered seeing a guide somewhere that made that claim.

Sure it's possible, I know nothing about that Heathkit HTX-10, this looks similair but there's no information either:
