I'll second this question. Would be nice to have Triumph Adler keys for my ergodox.Phenix wrote: ↑Will there be an ERGODOX Kit?

Is there any chance that you guys could make the font out of nixie tube inspired designs?
Like the sharp 3 and inverse 2 for 5, and everything sans serif?
They look really cool to me

I guess blanks, as using appropriate legends is tricky (or semiotic style.., but unlikely as for molds)

designing an ergodox set with sculpted keycaps is not the easiest. Do we already have some reference? What profile should each key have? It's very difficult to make everybody happy when it comes to ergodox.

I hope to see more icon-only legends where appropriate. From an aesthetic point of view, there is nothing more simple and direct than a graphical symbol, as compared to spelling out a whole word, or the clutter of a combined legend. Icons are at the same time retro, contemporary, and futuristic.

yea, Cherry, DSA and SA dox kits exist to my knowledge.matt3o wrote:designing an ergodox set with sculpted keycaps is not the easiest. Do we already have some reference? What profile should each key have? It's very difficult to make everybody happy when it comes to ergodox.
The dox is best used angled (inside higher than outside)
So I would say the horizontal 1. 5u keys should be same profile as the corresponding row.
The 1.5u verticals should have an slow to the inner side: meaning something like R0/R1
the thumb cluster is imho more difficult.
tough I think R0/R1 1u should work.
I am using my dox with Cherry SAD and carbon dox mods

I have no experience with ergodox, if I had to design a set it would be a guesstimate. I've made an ergodox kit for granite but DSA is a flat profile so definitely simpler. If any Ergodox user wants to design the ergo kit I'm more than happy to include it.

The alphas are a cool peroxide white, whereas the modifiers are a pebble grey with a hint of olive. Is this intentional?
I know mixing cool and warm tones has been done recently in Canvas XDA, but it really upsets my OCD.

That may just be a monitor display issue, infodroid, since I suspect (hope!) matt3o intends to use the same color temperature for both grays in this set, even though the render might not make that obvious.

Just refreshed and it's at 1050! Not that surprising really, SA caps have been all the rage recently.zslane wrote: ↑It'll pass 1,000 requests any minute now.
People love high-profile sphericals, it's as simple as that.

it's late and I'm sleepy, I'll give you more info tomorrow.
just know that the work is far from finished. MD rushed the drop because of their schedule, but a lot of work still awaits... starting from the final kits and colors. Nothing is written in stone yet so keep sending your requests and suggestions.
PS: colors will be OCD friendly.
PPS: pricing should be pretty good

Shut up and let me give you all my money!
(oh: and I'll spend even more on a few "International kits": give us "ÅÄÖ" to match this lovley key-set: This is my "end-game" and I'm getting atleast 2 or 3 sets!
Again: very well done matt3o! Thank you (and everyone else that participated) for bringing this to the community!
Best key-set EVER!
