I remember the first time I bought an F122, I ended up complaining on ebay because I thought the bottom half of the case was missing, it just looks so odd, like it's missing something.

It says blue alps, but there's no picture of them. I'm skeptical!

http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.asp?id=1322114993 has an Acer KB-084C XT type keyboard. I haven't been able to get a definitive answer on what type of a switch it is from googlin'; but looking at the traces where the one key is missing, looks like some form of capacitive board? Any ideas?

Yeah that PS/2 cable threw me off as well. Too few pictures and suspicious listing details - chances are slim!

hmmm. Maybe this is a later gold label? In which case it might have white alps? I'm not sure - definitely ask the seller to pull a cap if you're interested!

congrats dude! I was really debating whether or not $925 shipped to Canada was too much and slowly losing out against my urge to just get it anyways, but you really saved my wallet :p Be sure to post lots of pics when you get it!

hate to be that guy, but you're just playin right?MrDuul wrote: ↑Thinking about a CyberPunk restoration with LED lighting to boot.
Also wondering if the the manual compartment can be removed to give it a more modern feel.
I would like to mod a more slimmer bezel. Perhaps 3D print one.

I sincerely hope this is a joke... taking one of the rarer beamsprings and doing a destructive mod on it would be a travesty.MrDuul wrote: ↑Thinking about a CyberPunk restoration with LED lighting to boot.
