Uploaded two more pictures, it's strange. The switches are not like cherry's there is a large plastic plate mount.

Can't get any further in during work so can break it down further tonight if you'd like.

Hm...looks like there may be additional springs inside the sliders..maybe it's vaguely like this:

You should definitely take it apart and take more pictures! :)

Yep, definitely a hammer over membrane board like I thought. I find the similarity to the robotron interesting. That spring over spring design to simulate tactility seems like a typical cost cutting move. Is there a production date on the inside?

Could have been worse. Could have been a Fujitsu Peerless with similar technology.

There's a sticker on the "The Professional Manufacturer of Enhance Keybord" box that has MCD Auctions LOT 98 14-Nov-92

You'll be able to charge a premium as the board has 1.25 modifiers which isn't all that common. As it's ANSI you might be better off posting over at GH.

In that condition the board should bring 100$ minimum.
1.25 width keys are not doubleshot, but still vers sought after, since you wont need a moogle kit there.

Auction it properly. Also make sure Korean collectors know if it. This should fetch you $150-200+, possibly even more. Double shot winkey models are extremely rare.

How much is a Ducky Shine (Shining?) worth in the UK?

It's a full sized model with a US layout, and MX Browns. Mint condition, all the original packaging and accessories are complete. Only thing is that it is an "Overclock.net edition" from TankGuys.com, but this just means that the space bar says Overclock.net on it, nothing more.

To import it here from the US would cost almost $200 (mine was a gift :D) due to the high postage costs, but I'm not sure if you can include that in the sale price or not.

Can you flip the Windows key and see if it is Doubleshot?

If so I'm willing to buy the keyboard and/or trade for a NIB M13.

It is not. All Cherry windows-keys are pad printed due to their spacing limitations on the legends.

Ducky shining (Brand new ) are sold at 160USD + 30USD (postage).

Thanks for the replies guys, I think I'll stick it on here and see if I get any interest.

I'm somewhat tempted just to keep it as I really enjoy typing on it and I think the build quality of both the casing and the keys is great. I know PBT keys are supposed to be superior in many ways, but there's a huge difference between the ABS keys on this model and the ABS keys on a cheap rubber dome keyboard from Logitech or Microsoft etc.

But at the same time, I think I would probably prefer to get something that has a UK layout as this is quite annoying. :/

I would stick it on geekhack also, you'll get a lot of attention from people who love to push prices up :)

You don't have any Dolch PAC boards lying around do you? ;)

12 Mar 2012, 16:30

No, you don't want to do that.

You want to sell it to me. After you flip the Windows key to check.
