This is only a great find in terms of the seller's 'guesswork' about the keyboards history and how 'rare' it is. He believes that the AT in this Dell keyboard should stand for Austin, Texas...where they were founded. I thought it was all a clever listing by someone having a laugh, but I'm not so sure anymore

Wheelwriter caps are nice crisp 1-piece with green sublegends. I use them on my naked F-122.

You get the elusive "Code" key but the space bar is not compatible with any M/F.

I never knew that Dell was making these in Ireland.

Alps' Ireland plant was one of their most important keyboard assembly plants in Europe. It appears to be the Cork plant they took over from Apple, and they made all AT101 models for Europe there as far as I've seen. Other boards, such as ones for Canon, Sharp and Panasonic, were made in their Milton Keynes facility. Or so I've been told.

There's a set of NOS Alps SKCC (cream) numeric keys (originally for TRS-80 Model III) for only $11.99 (or less). I thought it was pretty good for the price. I've got some SKCC keyboards I can use them on though.

Edit: What the...! He sold out and it looks like he has another listing for $24.99, but this time with "manual" (instructions). Strangely, the instructions and his photo show the Hi-Tek version of the keyboard (notice the flat top 3), but he's selling the Alps version.

Yeah, I forgot what orihalcon charged for his but if I remember not much less, of course he's far away from Australia. I'd love to own a 4704, basically unobtanium around these parts.
