I'd correct that back to 'we' since multiple people have basically told you to shut up after spamming both in multiple threads and creating multiple threads. One of your threads also got deleted when you were acting like bellend. There is a dedicated thread for people to post their keyboards so why not use that? It's fairly obvious that you're only doing this for some sort of attention. If you're truly as rich as you say then maybe you should go spend your money on something that will actually impress people? I wish you'd just stay on geekhack to be honest, but you don't seem very welcome over there either.
Also posting a $329 Model F AT is not a great find in my opinion...

I second Swift's statement. A collection topic with regular updates that cover non-exceptional keyboards is fine. Single topics for exceptional keyboards/keyboard projects are fine. But M15s and Unsavers are pretty well documented.
Join the M15 owners' topic (I started that topic) and start/manage an Unsaver owners' topic if you want to do something useful.
Otherwise you are just spewing narcissism all over the forum.

Well I blame the odd couple of plebs that have actually paid that sort of money for them in the past. Seems ebay sellers are getting wise to the whole mechanical vintage keyboard craze and are trying to profit from it.alienman82 wrote: ↑lol what's with the model F prices lately ????
SOOOO Glad I found one locally for $15. modded the AT to ANSI for another like $45. screw eBay.

Nah, I think that goes to Ripster or Mr.Nobody. This is run of the mill Deskthority criticism.
If you learn from the constructive criticism and ignore its counterpart, you'll be fine.

I got one of the Zenith boards and will report back if they are the type that can be converted to USB as I know there are entire threads from those with conversion issues. If anyone has such issues converting theirs, PM me for an internal solderless plug and play Soarer's converter. The regular external Soarer's converters that I sell will definitely not work with XT style Zeniths. If I get mine and find that they are the type that can't be converted (with a Soarer's converter anyway), I will post here letting everyone know.

Mr. Nobody is a stand up guy IMHO based on my interactions with him. He helped me import a couple boards from China a while back and he was very responsive and packed them well.ohaimark wrote: ↑Though I should note that Mr.Nobody has been a model DT user as of late, at least to the best of my limited knowledge.
It takes a little getting used to to figure out what is and isn't considered acceptable to post and where, so there's somewhat of a learning curve for sure. It's not worth it or realistic to try and please everyone.
Personally, I do find some "non traditional" posts entertaining and think it makes the forums more fun, but there is such a thing as too much.

I can also vouch for Mr Nobody. He's proxied something for me, which went very smoothly, and has helped me with translation issues regarding a taobao listing beforeorihalcon wrote: ↑Mr. Nobody is a stand up guy IMHO based on my interactions with him. I've historically had bad luck with green Alps. A NOS green Alps Zenith model I didn't have yet for <$100 is an easy buy for me . Thanks for the link, Ben!

To my fellow Brits check out the price on this hhkb pro 2!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HHKB-Pro-2-Ha ... SwXetZRQrn
Someone should send an even lower offer to this guy and get themselves an incredible deal on a nice black hhkb.
If I wasn't so poor right now...

I think that's a little harsh. I always thought the Granite has some of the nicest ALPS caps out there. I know it's a little anti-DT-mentality to scavenge boards for parts, but the choices are relatively limited for ALPS, especially if you need an ANSI return. It's a little expensive if that's what you intend to use it for, but it's not terrible.taylorswiftttttt wrote: ↑
