I have one. If you already have a HiPro Topre then the NISSHO doesn't really bring much new to the table. One thing I've noticed about the HiPro is that they feel lighter and more linear than an equivalent weight standard Topre switch, so the 35g, and especially the JUKI boards, feel very 'airy'.
Thanks for the reply.

I don't yet have a Hi Pro, but I really want one -- either the Realforce Hi Pro (104UG) or the Nissho. I much prefer the look of the lighter keycaps on the Nissho and the earlier Just Systems Topre Hi Pro, but they don't make either of those anymore.

I might just get the Hi Pro anyways to try the keycaps... the look and sound is amazing from what I can tell in videos. I figured it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea so would be easy enough to find in the sale sections, but I haven't really come across one.

I'm verycurious to try 30-35g Topre as I quite like lightweight switches and linears, but I haven't heard much about them (and rarely anything good, at that).

If you ever decide to let your Nissho go, please let me know.

I'm also looking to try the Model F, but the prices on eBay are quite steep it would seem these days. Found one with a BIN at $329.

Are you looking strictly for an AT or would you consider an XT?

Everything I've read about the HiPro emphasised the "scooped" keycaps, one either really likes these or just forget about the whole thing. I have not tried them myself. As I did own a variable RF with 30-35g domes I can tell you those are very nice if you don't mind a "light touch". I prefer 45g. $329 is a lot for a Model F, for that money it better be a real nice one, the XT is ususally more common than the AT with the more humane layout. These are realitic prices for F's:

Maybe XT... but the steel chassis makes it sound a bit too metallic-pingy, from what I can tell in videos.

I'd rather get the AT for the sound, layout, and ability to work with just an adapter I already have.

It will be super pingy regardless of the model, but the layout and ease of use do make the AT more attractive. I may have an XT to sell if you decide you are interested. Located in Canada :D

In box, but not new. Can't see the pic with the serial number; at around what number would you say they got the bamboo stick?

Here's the pic with the number:

Hypersphere did a post about it I think over on GH. I think we confirmed less than 2 million to be pine and over to be bamboo?

edit: found it https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45456.4620;wap2

..although, that's for the ANSI 101, so maybe ultra's are different! I know that my 102 has a serial number in the 4 millions like the listing, and it came with bamboo whites as well. I swapped orange sliders, springs, and top housing into them though to make the switches amazing, though =P.

Haha very good wobbled. No I mean the Perkin-Elmer trust me. I can openly say me and webwit are not best friends, then again who really is here in this "virtual pastime" zone of keyboards?

I'd like to see you review this Perkin-Elmer, both of you seem to be in the same country. ;) :P

Seems like a fair price for so much keyboard, especially since the calculator screen seems to have all it's digits displaying correctly. This is assuming the switches are in good condition. I got one in this or better condition, but when I got it I immediately noticed how crappy/gummy the switches felt. They weren't that dirty either, just very heavily worn.

That's pretty okay. For that price you're unlikely to get a more interesting keyboard, in fact.
