Yes if someone wants to track interest in black legends on lighter black PBT we'd need 20 sets to proceed but I'd be up for it as a lower priority add on set only.

I am not sure on the pricing. For now let's say it will be a little more than the unprinted black, probably $10 more.

Yes all the legends and international key sets would be available in light black printed sets.

This is to gauge if there's enough interest (20 sets) to add a run of custom caps to Ellipse's Model F GB. They would be a lighter black than the "normal" unprinted black caps that Ellipse is already offering. Sound off here if you're interested and if there's enough interest, we can take it from there.

I would be shocked if it isn't. I think the MOQ is mostly to do with the cost of producing a different color of base keycap. Ellipse said that he was doing the dye-subbing himself. Knowing next-to-nothing about manufacturing, I can't image there's much of a difference between dye-subbing a beige keycap versus a dark grey one.

That said, if I hear something concrete from Ellipse, I'll make sure to add it to the top post.

I hope to confirm pricing this week with the factory for the extra very dark gray keycap colors. It looks like this will happen because we are close to the 20 key set minimum. Please post here or on GH if interested.

I don't want to be that guy, but it should be clarified that quite probably this run of printed caps would be only for the regular US layout. If I were to ask for, say, the UK layout or the Spanish one, it should be counted as a separate run. Or am I wrong?

My understanding is that the MOQ is to get the special color of base keycap. Since Ellipse is doing the printing himself, the setup costs for legends is shared with the other "normal" colors.
