Weird Model F? This was in the closet and I don't remember why I kept it or what it was. Is this just a PC/XT board with some overlays glued on? No ID on the badge, just "IBM", which seems odd to me. No label on the bottom (steel plate). Standard 5 pin DIN.

Your guess seems to be right, does look like an XT with some sticker pasted above some of the stepped keys.

I think it's one of those stepped key expansion kits. The stepped keys of the XT were unpopular even at the time, and third party companies offered kits to counteract this.

Honestly I dont think anyone here will be able to tell you that, especially not from that picture. Interesting is how that numpad fits on the keyboard.

It's model is Unisys KSI-8000. It has a vintage Cherry clear switch.

Someone asked about that in June (same photograph, but your photo is cropped more). I recognise it, but I don't know anything about it.

In all such cases, the best thing to do is to disassemble it and fully document it on the wiki.

Yep! It really is. I ditched the numpad and set it aside. Even then, the length is still the same size of a standard 104.

Hey. I could get this for around 25€ shipped. Since other, newer Victor keyboards have Peerless switches and this one was made in Japan, I'm thinking it could be Fujitsu leaf spring if I'm lucky. But then again it might be foam and foil (the LED arrangement somehow looks very Key Tronic) and hence a complete waste of time and money. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The caps look Alpsy to me.

I have a feeling I can rule out Fujitsu as their caps typically have really sharp edges.

Wow, if it was ALPS I'd definitely want it. At that age it would have to be pre-white ALPS and certainly worth the investment.

I'd be very sursprised if that was Key Tronic, does indeed looks Alps to me.

Dude same shit, could have greens though not creams, its a Alps OE board so different OE's want different weighted switches.

It appears to be a rebrand of the keyboard seen here: photos-videos-f64/sharp-ce-750ku-serial ... 17260.html

This looks like another Alps OEM keyboard platform. It'll probably have a type of SKCL, but we can't really be sure until it's in your hands. :)
