I'm ok with ВШ instead of ЗАБОЙ because the former is apparently standard and I can't find keyboards with "ЗАБОЙ" though it's very literal and accurate. Also it would be nice to have russian novelties, such as СБ (служба безопасности, security service) and ФСБ (Federal Security Service) such as here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNsyTSEFvrU

Very interesting.
I wonder if a variant where ✭ is replaced by ☦ would be requested.
Also, where is the blue in this layout?

that's actually a terrific idea I already designed a few novelties but I'm now working on the colors. Still not sure what colorway we should gojoric wrote: ↑such as СБ (служба безопасности, security service) and ФСБ (Federal Security Service) such as here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNsyTSEFvrU

Could it also be possible to get support for mac os russian layout? It has maybe 6(?) keys in different places compared to the Microsoft introduced layout. See: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-MC184RS- ... B006D1DASE
edit: here is a picture of the layout, with the alt-gr layer as well in blue:

It's rather КГБ - soviet era, ФСБ - post-ussr. And I love the idea about the cross and maybe even Putin. Either his face or a "Put In" key. Also what about sculpted SA profile, is it harder to manufacture, is it more expensive for the buyer?matt3o wrote: ↑not clear yet, but if we add the ФСБ key...

I'm not 100% about it though
PS: high profile is not an option this time unfortunately

How about red letters and symbols on white and blue caps? (Esc and Enter should still be red and have white letters)

I would be particularly interested in all white with maybe some accent keys.
Sorry for asking here as I assume you’ve addressed this deep in a Granite group buy thread, but where does the Elvish keyboard layout you’ve used in the past come from, like does it map any established keyboard layouts or is it something you designed? And do you know if anyone has had luck typing in that layout? Presumably you would use a font mapping ASCII characters because deep unicode keyboard layouts are tricky, right?
Thank you, and needless to say I am interested.

I do like the blue mods. So maybe red letters on the white keys, and black on the blue and red mods?matt3o wrote:we can't have white letter in sublimation, but I can do red letters on white.

yeah I'll make some more tests later this morning. I'll try red and blue legends.Techno Trousers wrote: ↑I do like the blue mods. So maybe red letters on the white keys, and black on the blue and red mods?
I hear you, but I'm afraid this won't be possible, at least this time. Anyway I'll check with the manufacturerarmatus wrote: ↑i'm really wants russian monolegend set in uniform profile!

I'm liking the white and off white more than I thought I would. One last request.. how about white and off white, with blue text alphas and red text labels on the mods? I think that might be a nice subtle tri-color combination.

I like red chars because historically russian legends have always been red:
This one seems the most russian so far:
But I don't want to ruin it, because this set is undoubtedly the cleanest and most usable, I'd rather buy this set:
This one with aged colors is cool too:
Let's put it to vote on r/mk or something.

I like the idea much.. hopefully, a Elvish (Sindarin) only set will follow.
I had prefer many profiles over OEM - is your own profile, MT3, really out of the water?
