This means regular price for any keyset no matter if text is in red or in black?*

I got a couple of white ones (bottom right), but there are no full sets possible, Ambra style, as far as I know.

That's remarkably cheap in my eyes. Any colour combo ideas?

$25 plus $500 / number of buyers.

Definitely in for a couple of sets.

Blue on white would be pretty sick if you have a blue label.

Blue should be in stock, if they still make 3270 terminal emulators.

..
Ambra is some bluish grey.

Why should they not be able to produce more white key caps?

Maybe it's different for big numbers, but I don't think they produce any caps, they just print blank ones. So you can get colored ones only in the configuration they were originally made for. These are usually limited to a few modifiers or numpad keys. This is why fentek has some colors Unicomp ran out of.

Let me see, if I can compile a list...

tsangan - ANSI - [3-4]
korne - ES - [1]
7-bit - DE 122-key - [1]
dirge UK - [1]
xbb ???
litster - ANSI - [2]
RC-1140 - 122-key DE - [1]
Ascaii - DE - [1]
reaper - ANSI SKK - [1]
kaiserreich - ANSI - [2]
laggy-gaga - ANSI - [2]
dfxdx - ANSI - [1]
kisakuku - whatever - [1]
demik - ANSI - [1]
gilgam - FR - [1]

So far that's 20 kits not counting mine. Anyone else?

I'm gonna ask Jim about the possibility of prototyping or something like that :D

This is gonna be so awesome if it really comes to this, though I'm a little bit afraid of the shipping. I hate customs and international shipping. Always such an hassle, and so expensive…

I'd take a set.

Nope. Unicomp only does Dye Subs, and you can't dye plastics brighter. You can only dye them in a darker color. So only Black on Red, and if this really works, then Red on Red might be possible too. But I don't think you would want Red on Red...

Red on Yellow would look okay.

rouston

black on red would be nice as well

Sorry I didn't specify quantity:
1x US ANSI
1x IT

It's possible to have a SSK kit (with numpad legends etc...)?

Let me be more specific, 2 ANSI sets.

The best thing would be to let someone in the US ship it to individuals.

Did you ask for white key caps? Would look great on my new 122 key case (if it ever arrives!).
7-bit - DE 122-key 7BIT or US [2]

Update
1 FR
1 FR SSK

By the way did the last group buy from Unicomp finally ended ???

Yes, it is all at the Hauptzollamt in Berlin-Schöneberg.

I wait for an invoice to be sent to me by the one who shipped the items ...

This may take a while ...

Hmm. So Unicomp still has the capability to print keycaps in colours other than black. That opens up all sorts of possibilities.

Why don't we ask them to print keycaps using more than one colour per key? They used to do this with their APL keyboards so it must be technically possible. For example, we could ask them to offer a US international layout with the main characters printed in black, and the Alt Gr characters printed in blue, like this:

Thanks for the suggestion but I want to keep this as simple as possible. Don't want another Round 4 on our hands!

Well all is not as rosey as it appeared:
Since we first started communicating, I have checked on the detailed cost of a layout being printed in a color (other than black); the cost would be a $750 non-recoverable setup cost plus $25 per printed button set. If you are talking about two different languages, you would double the cost.

Regarding the color, you would be limited to the standard colors available;i.e., red, blue, green etc.
I'm not really sure what this means but it would rise the cost dramatically :o
