I think they look more like old Cherry high profile sphericals, like here: wiki/Cherry_B_65-1712

Certainly not SS. They look more like SA to me; I know that sounds cliche, but I don't say that with naivete.mecano wrote: ↑SS caps?Slom wrote: ↑ beautiful caps, no idea on the switches

SS is sculpted and more distinct. Almost like DSA if it was high profile and sculpted. These are uniform, which is what SA was originally. The inner corners aren't rounded enough to be that classic Cherry spherical profile. These have sharper inner corners.

But SA has even sharper corners and the dish of those caps looks deeper than that of SA profile. Also look at the side profile and the font, I'd bet those are Cherry keycaps.
The switch contacts seem to match Cherry M7 switches, as well.

I'd love some SA caps with that font. Actual SA caps doesn't look too classic, those ones would be, IMO.E3E wrote: ↑Certainly not SS. @Myoth yup that font is nice and BOLD, look at that G!
I searched BOSCH System 5 but couldn't find anything vintage just modern surveillance system units or so it seems.
So Nuum should be closer to the truth… and it really looks like the wiki Cherry B 65-1712 picture.
Something is fishy here though, why are the 'O' and 'U' missing? Almost cryptic when you look at the caps positions. Someone is angry about the alphabet order?

Right, well ít's pretty random I guess. Wodan had better luck. Were I live the recycler is like a high-security area they just won't tolerate it because of some insurance policy shit...wobbled wrote: ↑I tried that once! I'm fairly new to Topre. I just got a Leopold and I like it quite a bit so I'd like to explore HKKB (at a reasonable price). But then again, I just got a Topre board so it feels a bit like hoarding if another member wants to try it as well...
There is also a reasonable priced set of keycaps in eBay uk (with a few non-iso swapped from a JP layout) if the new owner wants to have some of the keycaps replaced. I was planing to go for both.

This is already gone. i was a bit tempted but didn't seem "Unused". Too much Yellowing.
Today I received a real unused Apple ADB Keyboard from 1988 New in Box, and it is absolutely pristine with no yellowing whatsoever. There shouldn't be any if the keyboard was never out of the box.
